Guest guest
Yes, been on them 9 yrs and have started back to riding my horses on good days. I can't use IV abx because I work on farm and I worry about bacteria getting in the line. [ ] Oral antibiotics Hi- my 3 children and I have been diagnosed with Lyme. I've had it a long time, and it turns out that my kids got it from my placanta. My insurance (Anthem) will not cover IV antibiotics at all. Has anyone ever gotten well using oral antibiotics for a long time? There is no way we can afford IV antibiotics for 4 people, out of pocket. Thanks, Carole
Guest guest
You may also consider the herbal route which did much much more for me than did the Doxy. It is more affordable, though many GPs would pooh pooh it, of course. The protocol for that is olive leaf extract alternated with wild oregano. Whereas most antibiotics are prevented fro passing the blood/brain barrier that barrier does not recognize or therefore halt the action of the herbal constituents from moving throughout the entire circulatory system. Reversatrol is a product that aid in healing the neurological symptoms. And you should consider a very good NATURAL multivitamin. Having a personal history of interest in aromatherapy I have used various oils to help comfort the psychological angst that Lyme suffers endure. There is no need for me to state my own choices. I feel that is personal. You might consider checking out a few aromas at a local health food center. An example would be that rosemary is uplifting and invigorating. Lavender is soothing and aids mental clarity. Sandalwood is calming. Etc.... Some of them help ease my sleep while others help me to get going of days more than what I otherwise might. And they help me feel more groomed and better about myself. Seeing as Lye has aged me about ten years in only two that has been somewhat of a comfort. I may look like hell but at least I am clean and smelling nice. lol By the way, I have heard much hoopla about Grapefruit Seed Extract. Perhaps that has aided some people but it did not do squat for me. And, the Olive Leaf Extract and Wild Oregano will make you herx. Expect that but, as you know that is not a bad thing! If you are hard core antibiotics then do please consider a probiotic to replace the good guys. A lot of the intestinal discomfort will be relieved by that. Good luck and good health toy you, and God bless.
