Hi, I am so sorry you are going through this trial.  I can relate to some of

the

things you mentioned, I felt like someone was dumping acid in my veins, I also

felt like (in my head) that I was shocked, almost like when static electricity

but more intense.  I hope you find a new lyme literate dr. soon in your area,

ask on this site, I'm sure someone lives in your area w/ Lyme.  Best wishes for

Robyn do u live in hampton roads virginia???i do....not on any meds cause they

put my doc out of business...i just take himalayan sea salt and ester c and also

some coconut oil...vitamins...magesium vit. e and kyo green...and eat healthy

organic diet...mostly vege and sometimes alaskan salmon or organic chicken...and

i exercise daily...and drink lots of water and do epsom salt baths...i just dont

understand why im not getting any better at all....thanks for writing to me...i

wished u lived close so we could talk....love cynthia

Hi . the buzzing and numbness are classic symptoms of lyme disease. Im

really surprised that more people here have not responded saying they have it

too. I started having the numbness in my feet about 8 years ago. My doc told me

anxiety or circulation problems were to blame (I was 42) Then my hands started

to get numb, my face. Now it is a buzz all over at times, and very painful at

other times (like through the roof). This doesn't mean you will get bad pain.

Just what has happened to me. I also have had jerking limbs and at times my

whole body will lurch.

Do you have other symptoms? fatigue? fogginess? Get to another doc, you have

to find someone to address this. Dont let anyone dismiss this. And know that

antibiotics can totally reverse what you are feeling, in time. You should

probably be evaluated by a neurologist. I find that neurontin and nabutemone

taken together can help a bit. Google WILDCONDOR, and read her story. She

talks a lot about the buzzing and pain. While it is of course important to stay

hydrated and keep electrolytes up, what you and I are experiencing is WAY beyond

deyhration. But by all means, drink as much water as you can.

I have 8 friends who have recovered from LD. Every single one of them had very

severe numbness, paralysis and pain.

In Lyme disease the CNS and peripheral nerves are often overstimulated. The best

solution is of course getting rid of the infection, and that of course is our

dilemma. The very first Lyme patient to write a book outlining nerve issues was

Hanner from Delano MN and she was the first (and perhaps last) Lyme

patient diagnosed by the MAYO Clinic. In her book she describes having to use a

These devices were prescription only just a few years ago, and are not toys or

gimmicks and nothing to do with RIFE or Electro Pulse Therapies. This is real

and effective and work by direct blocking of subcutaneous nerves.

Another adjunct therapy is hyperthermia. Borrelia bacteria cannot survive high

Dear Robyn...can i call u by phone and talk to you...you are the only one i know

this close to me that has lyme...i just dont know where to turn...symptoms are

so severe no matter what i do..im doing all the right things...im also going

thru perimenopause...i dont know how to deal with lyme and perimenopause....the

worst thing right now is the electrical buzzing 24/7...i eat a very healthy

diet...mostly vegetarian...and take supplements, multivitamin, primose oil,

vit.e and kyo green and fortified cereal and milks...and i exercise daily...and

do yoga..all when feeling like im gonna die...dont understand..i hope you will
