I was always taken back that vets go by a dogs weight and no matter what a

person weights they always give the same dose - and for a dog - they give a min

of 30 days - if that doesn't do the trick they do another 30

day...........hmmmmmmm

By the way, my dog was diagnosed with Lyme by my vet, and is on

doxycycline.  He is a 60 lb. dog, and *he's* on 100 mg. twice a day, which

is your dose.  I suspect you weigh a bit more than 60 lb.; while not proof,

yet another piece of evidence that your dose probably should be higher.
