Guest guest
Daisy, As far as I know, there has been no proven evidence one way or the other. However, the bacteria has been found in every bodily fluid - blood, saliva, mucus, tears, as well as semen and vaginal fluid. Researchers are just not sure if the spirochetes found in these fluids can be transmitted without fluid to blood contact. They do know that it can be passed through the placenta during pregnancy. My husband's LLMD told us that Lyme was not passed from one human to another (after birth); however, everyone in our family has it (I was diagnosed with it earlier this month). And there are so many families where every member has it, too. So, I agree, it is inconclusive, but I'd be careful just in case. ________________________________ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of daisytiff228@...
