Guest guest
Hi Bill, Im sure you could try the whey and inulin anytime. It's helped a lot of people on here alongside the diet. Be aware, as your system adjusts to this diet and yeast is slowly reducing, you can get problems going toilet. Constipation can be part of die off. Also a time of adjustment to a different diet. But make sure you get enough vegetables for fibre!! So though meat and eggs are great, dont forget the vegetables. just make sure you dont eat potatoes, beans, corn etc, as they are too high in carbs at this point. You maybe able to add them later as you improve. You can eat broccoli, cauliflower, celery, tomatoe, silverbeet, lettuce, cucumber, alfalfa (great in salads), onions, garlic, carrots (might be ok, some say still high in carbs, so be careful), etc. You can eat them raw in salads, or stir fry them, or steam them. Make sure you include enough good fat intake, like butter, extra virgin olive oil and Bill, DEFINITELY include a good fish oil supplement (cod liver oil is great). A brand that has been tested for PCB, mercury etc. One such great brand is " Blue Ice " (cod liver oil). But certainly this is a time of adjustment, so dont be too surprised if things do worsen temporarily. That can also help get things moving. > hi i been on the dite for 2 or 3 weeks and sould i try to take the > whey and inulin im not going. to the bath room like i like to can any > one tell me what i can take that doset cost so much money. >
Guest guest
Hi Bill, tempting as it is, I'd not advise eatingcorn chips at this point. Better to wait until you have been on the strict part of the diet long enough to notice some improvements. Candida is tough, it can feed off high carbs, which include grains/corn etc. Although they may not be as bad as direct sugar, it's still an issue in the early stages. Later you maybe able to add them, but I wouldn't rush that. It's hard cause you want something to snack on, so I know how this feels. Sometimes I do cheat and eat corn chips, but I can tell it's put me back. So unfortunately I have to grin and bear it. > hi can any one tell me can u have organics tortilla chips blue corn. >
Guest guest
Bill, you're asking if you should take whey and inulin after all those testimonials? The short answer is " probably " because these foods will address what is demonstratably a dietary deficiency, and attending to it forms a key part of the remission of many diseases because they support biology in ways that diet alone does not. The cheapest way to affect your diet is by limiting carbs. If it's a carb-heavy food, put it on " NO-EAT " list. Guest guest
---I think smoked bacon may not be ok, but unsmoked should be alright, particularly if it's organic. > > is smoked bacon. bad on this diet >
Guest guest
Most " smoked " foods haven't been smoked at all and have the taste due to a whole group of chemicals that have been added to the meat. Always get organic smoked food or smoke it yourself. I had smoked salmon once near the beginning of the diet and I felt like death! Guest guest
Bill, The likelihood of this kid having yeast issues is very high. Lots of ear infection, he's eating lots of candy, he's suffering other issues like ADD. yeast is almost a sure thing playing probably a big role in his issues. I can't say exactly what is best for him, Im not a professional. I can offer some suggestions that may help boost his ability to fight infection. Diet of course would be great and the main deal, but here some supplements I woudl imagine may be helpful to him. Vitamin C, cod liver oil (contains vitamin A and D naturally in the oil), garlic is GREAT in meals or a good supplement, virgin organic coconut oil for fat intake, and Pau d'Arco tea for him to drink, even garlic tea! Lots of butter in his meals as well. In fact, you can warm up coconut oil until it's liquid and actually use a dropper and put the oil straight into his ear. You can do the same apparently with garlic. You can mix some crushed garlic into this oil and let it infuse over night (or for two days). And drop this liquid into his ears. some people have actually used just raw crushed garlic straight and put it into the ears. These things will help fight the infection. His diet is most important, but I can see that may not be possible to get him to follow that. Ideally it would be great if his candy was replaced with a healthier alternative! Perhaps the other things will help but i'd suggest trying to get good food into him as much as possible with plenty of the healthy fats suggested above. > > hi my borthers kid gets lots of ear infections and my borther smoke in > the house we told him but he dent stop. i think his kid has a > d d is there any thing he can take i no antibotics and strods are > not, doing him no good .can any one tell me what he can take. and i no > he eats lot of canndy. hes a big kid too. im hoping he dont have candida >
Guest guest
Hi again Bill Just forgot to add this to my previous post. HEre is a link I reckon you will find helpful. CLick on this http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/baby.php I think you will find some really helpful advice on there for this kid and something you could print out and keep with you or save the link on your computer so you can refer to it often. > > hi my borthers kid gets lots of ear infections and my borther smoke in > the house we told him but he dent stop. i think his kid has a > d d is there any thing he can take i no antibotics and strods are > not, doing him no good .can any one tell me what he can take. and i no > he eats lot of canndy. hes a big kid too. im hoping he dont have candida >
Guest guest
I agree with Adam. ADHD can be reduced or maybe eliminated with nutrients and correcting bowel ecology. Candida may play a large role but calling the bowel issue by its more general term dysbiosis is useful because the term implies not just a bowel candida infection but the presence of other toxins and resulting irritation and malnutrition at the outset, which I believe is a better way to approach it. Undenatured whey and selenium produce glutathione, which curbs infection of all types, and the whey itself has an effect on bad bacteria and candida in the bowel. Gernerally, inulin is also used to correct bowel ecology and it will reduce toxins from that bad ecology, toxins that aggravate ADHD. Guest guest
Bill, most people can benefit from whey selenium and inulin. A low-end adult dose of 35-70 grams of undenatured whey, 200 mcg selenium and 12 grams of inulin daily is fine for big kids. I had to discontinue the whey because it caused way too much gas and discomfort. It's the Jarrow Whey. Do you have any suggestions? Guest guest
Hi am, I am in Dallas, TX. Where are you located? I am in my 18-week treatment, and I am undetectable, feeling very good. If you could, please come to our support group. We meet on every 2nd Thursday of the month at Presbyterian Hospital. Next meeting will be on 6/14 at 6:30 pm. Email me for direction, if you or others would like to come... I don't have health insurance, either. I am with Roche Patient Assistance Program http://www.rocheusa.com/products/pegasys/. I get free drugs, but I need to pay all lab work myself. Once you are in treatment. Call drug manucfacture, they will send you application form, etc. You may also check this page: http://www.pegassist.com/ If you have questions, please let me know. --------------------------------- Got a little couch potato?
