Guest guest
, In my eyes with the bands that are positive you have Lyme. What are your symptoms? You should be treated clinically until you no longer have any symptoms for two months. Did you happen to take antibiotics before the test? Even Igenex's tests aren't perfect, but the best we have to work with. Once into treatment your test could even come back very positive. I have a son who has " markers " like this, he has no symptoms but we are treating him anyhow to prevent a nightmare as he is just about at that puberty age when things can go haywire. Lucky for him he had a very high strep. titer and didn't have symptoms of strep either, would rather be safe then sorry. Good luck, I think if he's willing to treat, please except it. Do you recall a bite? Most don't. How long have you been sick?
Guest guest
Hi kristin, No I haven't taken antibiotics. I dont recall a bite. Ive been sick for about 9 years. I have an achey body, severe morning fatigue where I feel I cant move at all, I have interstitial cystitis and chronic yeast/candida, bloated stomach, severe dry eyes/mouth, sometimes chronic fatigue and weak legs. Back/neck pain. Endometriosis. But my doctor is unsure if its lyme or heavy metals or both. Im in the process of getting that checked now, they did a hair test to check heavy metals and im waiting for the results. Im afraid to just try to get cheated because the antibiotics are bad for me with all the chronic candida/yeast I have. Im trying to be sure it's the right things I guess. But it looks like it is with all the bands that show. Most say indeterminate bands are pretty much positive? so that would leave me with a lot of bands. I was one band away from being positive according to cdc...and if you count the three INT's I would have more than enough. In a message dated 4/19/2011 4:43:30 P.M. Guest guest
Lyme can cause a methylation breakdown that makes it very hard for the body to detox, creating a heavy metals problem. (Some researchers think these detox glitches explain almost as many of our symptoms as the spirochetes themselves do.) So it's entirely plausible that you have both.
