Guest guest
First - thanks to all for providing input. I have been on Rifampin for the past 6 months to treat the Bart along with Biaxin to treat the Lyme. Prior to that I had been alternating every six months between Biaxin and Tetracyclyne to treat the Lyme. To clarify, I now just started on Azithromycin and Sulfamethoxazole/Trimethoprim (SMZ/TMP) to treat the Bart. My ND feels that we need to attack the Bart and then add something back in to fight the Lyme. She had mentioned last week that Levaquin might be worth trying and that's when I went into research mode and was a little nervous about trying it based on the side effects. Sounds like a number of people have had good luck with it, however. I think I may stick with the current treatment to see if it produces a good herx. If not, then I'll likely switch to the Levaquin. Again - I appreciate the input and welcome any more feedback.
