Hi Kari,

My lyme doctor didn't mention it at first either, a nurse caught it. She said

something about vitamin c and tindamax both binding to the same thing and if the

vitamin c gets there first the tindamax can't. I checked online for tindamax and

it said you can't take vitamin c period if you're on it but gave no explanation

why. I asked my doctor if it was safe to use it while taking because I'm an

epileptic and she was the one who suggested spacing them out. No one else gave

me any sort of explanation. I still am kind of foggy on the whole thing but it

kind of made sense?

Three of us take tindamax and I have never heard the recommendation to spread

vitamin C away from it. In fact we just were at our ILADS doctor and he read

down the list of all of our meds and vitamins with no comment except for my

levaquin.

Is there are a reason why?

vitamin C if you're on tindamax but my doctor says I absolutely need to take a

multivitamin. She said I should space out the time period between when I take

them but I take two pills of tindamax a day on top of IV rocephrin,

acidophilous, and zithromax. So I'm at the point where I'm taking pills

basically every two hours. Basically I was wondering how far apart other people

take tindamax and multivitamins/vitamin C?
