Introduction and interpreting WB test

Hello everyone,

I had a WB test done a few years ago which came back as " Indeterminate. " The

doctor who ordered the test said I needed to pursue it further (get tested

again, I think she meant). But shortly after having this test, I moved to

another state. I then found a new doctor who ordered another test--it came

back negative (though now I realize that it wasn't even a WB). I assumed I

didn't have lyme and have tried to find other reasons for my chronic health

issues.

Recently I had a homeopath say I have lyme and I had an electrodermal test done

that showed lyme. So, I'm back where I started and am trying to figure out if

it's been lyme all along.

This the result of the Quest WB test I had 2 years ago:

IgG: reactive for band 41.

IgM: reactive for bands 23 and 41.

The test results say that when you show negative for IgG and positive for IgM

(per CDC guidelines), there's a high likelihood for a false positive and that " a

positive IgM test alone is not recommended for use in determining active disease

in persons with illness of longer than one month duration. "

Would those of you with more experience suggest that I order a test from Igenex

to see what it shows? Or would you pursue treatment based on this WB result

alone?

Thanks for your help,
