Guest guest
Hi there You could try Aloe Vera, it's wonderful for healing and cleansing the digestive track. Make sure you by gel and not juice. --- Steve knight <steve@...> wrote: --------------------------------- I think I have the Candida killed off mostly with herbs and grapefruit seed extract. Guest guest
Hi Steve, I took Glutagenics from Metagenics... the main ingredients are l-glutamine, licorice and aloe vera. You can usually buy these seperately for a relatively good price. *8-)
Guest guest
Hi , Why buy the gel and not the juice? I thought it was just a personal preference as you can also use the gel topically. What exactly does aloe do and how much should you take? - I am also a cyclist and have a lack of energy for riding (amongst other things) and find it difficult to ride without using the necessary sugars needed to ride long distances and compete and recover. Guest guest
Steve- Nice work with killing off the Candida with GSE and herbs!! As for leaky gut: Colonics http://www.taringa.com/colonics.htm I would seek out a colon hydrotherapy therapist and have a discussion with them. Cleansing your intestinal tract with warm water and adding some acidophilus to your diet to replish the good bacteria would be the first place I look. http://www.inlightimes.com/archives/2001/04/leaky-gut.htm Consume nutrients that soothe and heal the cells lining the intestine. Quercetin (an anti-inflammatory from herb) L-glutamine Vitamin A Vitamin E Slippery Elm tea/capsules Aloe Vera Licorice root Golden Seal Good Luck, I have just started to get into colonics and I have had pretty good success with it. I bought a home unit. http://www.thecolonet.com/jr4.html Once you get over the idea that it is gross, you will see that doing these can have tremendous healing powers. Let me know if you have any questions... Rob what else can I do? I think I have the Candida killed off mostly with herbs and grapefruit seed extract. But it seems I have leaky gut problems. I have allergies to any carbs like all grains sugars and starch any milk product but cheese. . Soy products I think too. All I can eat are meats veggies and nuts. (Sure an easy way for me to loose weight though) I need to get my guts healed up so I can get a bit more things in my diet. Plus get more energy so I can ride my bike better. There about 1001 things that seem way overpriced to buy to fix me up. But what's practical and cost effective? I need a culture that has no milk products in it. I was fine with kefir till I killed off the Candida and then it got to be a problem. L-Glutamine was one thing I found colosterum was another but that effects me like milk does. Guest guest
- I am also a cyclist and have a lack of energy for riding (amongst other things) and find it difficult to ride without using the necessary sugars needed to ride long distances and compete and recover. Since I started riding last year I had been struggling for energy. I can ride but without more energy it is slower then I like. The Candida caused that. But I have not been getting any energy from carbs or very little. Only fat and protein. Though fruit used to help my sore muscles. But now I can't have any carbs of any kind or my lungs tighten up for days.
Guest guest
Nice work with killing off the Candida with GSE and herbs!! That was the easy part (G) Colonics http://www.taringa.com/colonics.htm I can't really afford treatment. I am self employed and seldom have extra money. So I need to do this myself. Hell I have done it all myself my doctor was no help. Cleansing your intestinal tract with warm water and adding some acidophilus to your diet to replish the good bacteria would be the first place I look. Yes need some coulters that don't have any milk products in them. I was fine with kefir till I stopped using it for a couple weeks then I reacted to it. Same with fruit it helped till I did not have it for a couple weeks. http://www.inlightimes.com/archives/2001/04/leaky-gut.htm Consume nutrients that soothe and heal the cells lining the intestine. Quercetin (an anti-inflammatory from herb) L-glutamine Vitamin A Vitamin E Slippery Elm tea/capsules Aloe Vera Licorice root Golden Seal Good Luck, atleast most of these are cheap. Time to shop today.
Guest guest
Hi Steve I've known sports people, who have put aloe vera in their drinking bottles. This has helped with their energy levels. Make sure you buy gel and not juice. Guest guest
Hi Todd If you buy juice, you are generally paying for watered down Aloe Vera and it might contain the outer leaf, which can cause irritation to the gut, were as Aloe Vera drinking gel contains only the inner part of the leaf. Aloe is wonderful for the digestive track, it will heal and cleanse it. It will boost or quell the immune system. It has anti-fungal, anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties. It has many names, often called the Miracle Plant or the Natural Healer. If you drink 2 fl oz every morning,30mins before you eat, you are consuming an abundance of vitamins and minerals, including the rare vitamin B12 . I've been drinking Aloe for 2 years now and would not be without it. Guest guest
I am seeing a Lyme doctor who just put me on a second (additional)antibiotic (Amoxycycline) after doing three months of Doxycycline 200mg 2 times a day. I have been doing probiotics, milk thistle, vitamin D, Magnesium, as well as a few other vitamins. I take hot baths. I can't get my body temp up. When I did the 6 weeks of IV Rocephin (November 2010)my temp rarely went over 96.8 and still doesn't. What other suppliments will help? Teasel? I am having a difficult time getting exersize as the weather is not warmed up much here in central Pa. I am looking for things that are working for other people.
