Guest guest
About two years ago, my best friend contracted Lymes. She was fortunate enough to have been diagnosed quickly, without the years of struggle that many endure before they are " figured out. " I immediately became an avid reader on this Lymes site in order to understand all the various symptoms and treatments. I saw how not knowing what's happening causes a horrible snowball effect – how lost and alone Lymes victims feel when their physical and emotional health decline and their lives change more and more every day, with each new attempt at feeling better and finding new treatment ideas. I watched daily how victims of Lyme search for new and alternative treatments and even just for acknowledgment of the seriousness/legitimacy of their disease. My friend was treated with antibiotics which seemed to help, but luckily found an answer to her constant pain and struggle when she tried Reiki Therapy, which very quickly, began to give her reprieve from her pain and various " snowballing " symptoms. For her, it halted the progress of Lymes. Last month, because of the success she found for her own Lymes, she opened a Reiki and Meditation center in Voorhees, New Jersey. Interestingly, she had already used " energy healing " methods to help people for many, many years before her own illness came, but until Lymes, she had not formed an actual practice. Now, it is her firm belief (as well as her actual personal experience), that Reiki Therapy is a less-understood, but even more effective treatment for many of the terrible Lymes symptoms than almost anything else out there. Reiki, like Lymes, isn't familiar to most, or generally understood. However, for so many reasons, she explains to me that it should be a critical part of treatment for Lymes victims. I now help her run the center and manage the clients. I wanted you to know that because of her own ties to the Lymes community, she offers free Reiki therapy (she is fully licensed) to victims of Lymes. PLEASE take advantage of her offer to help. The usual fee of $90 for the first extended visit is waived to readers on this site or any Lymes patients they know. She is well aware of the cost of Lymes recovery, and is anxious to do her part in offering help for no cost. If you decide to try Reiki, call the center (856-346-1026) and be sure to mention Lymes (so that your paperwork can be handled differently from other paying clients). She takes Lymes patients on a priority basis, scheduling them first (weekdays, evenings and weekends). With best wishes. Eden
