Son's results

It looks like he difinately has been exposed to Lyme and most likely at birth.

How long have you been treated?  My son is 11 and has markers as well and we are

treating him because he has a elevated strep titer.  He is asymptomatic too.  I

understand the situation you are in and I'm neurotic like you as well.  It's

just what parents do for their kids to protect them.  My husband and 9 year old

are Igenex positive and are being treated since last fall.  I'm sure I gave it

to all three.  I was in really rough shape.  I am not sure what I would do with

a 2.5 year old?  I guess I would take the knowledge that he has likely been

exposed, live life and watch him closely for symptoms.  Then revisit it if he

shows symptoms and treat when a little older. I might see a naturopatic LLMD for

suggestions.   I didn't notice any symptoms with my positive son until he was in

kindergarten, then I was so sick and figured out what was wrong with me and thus

able to get help for them.  His teacher would tell me " somedays he just doesn't

seem likes he's there, like nobody's home, and other days he's very bright "

Thoughts on a 2.5 year old Mike?

Thanks .  I feel better knowing there is a reason for all of his ailments.  I believe he will respond well.  Best to catch the lyme now at 18 months than later on...

Good you got the results Elissa, but so sorry that he tested positive for Lyme too.  I hope as Aandraya said that he will respond quickly, poor guy.

Elissa- feel free to join the WI Lyme group, over half the active members have multiple kids being treated while treating themself, many times the spouse as well. Lots of support for issues with kids.AandrayaOn Feb 23, 2012, at 8:00 PM, Goldstein@... wrote:

So so true Elissa. My prayers are with you and your family Elissa. This is very, very tough for a family. My husband is very understanding and he has Lyme too, but treatment puts quite a strain on a relationship I've found. Especially when I'm treating my Lyme aggressively now and it makes me very emotional. I wonder how your son will respond. Please let us know as time goes by. I hope he doesn't herx horribly, but herxing tells you it is working. From: "Elissa " <elissarachel@...>bird mites Sent: Thursday, February 23, 2012 5:44:56 PMSubject: Re: Son's results
