Guest guest
Well - if it were me........I would have my child treated - I think 41 & 39 are pretty specific to lyme....... I would seek out a LLMD in your area that treats kids and find out.......I would say even though your child might be symptom free who knows when it might come out and the older they get the more involvement of the body happens........that is what happened with my girls. But - don't freak out - you have time and you have young age on your child's side.........make sure you are doing good first then turn your time and efforts on your child............. Bless you and my prayers are with you both.......... I did nurse him for 2 years prior to knowing what I had so I had a constant worry. His Igenex results were IGM WB Negative with no bands positive. IGG WB positive with 30++, 39+, 41+++, 58+ We are in TX and my LLMD does not treat kids, so I am sort on my own here. With no symptoms (that I am aware of) at this time what you you guys do? I am freaking out. Thank you.
Guest guest
Bands 30 and 39 are lyme specific. 41 is not specific to lyme and I don't think 58 is either. I was bit when pregnant with my daughter, but was not disgnosed correctly or treated at the time. When my daughter came up with a positive lyme test at 3yo but had no obvious symptoms I took her to a LLMD who recommended a 4 month trial of treatment. Her reasoning was that the treament itself could help confirm she has lyme if she has a herx reaction and the symptoms start to show up. I agreed. During the 4 month trial, I saw no differece with my daughter, so we stopped the treatment on recommendation of her doctor, and a second opinion from Dr. J. I still watch her carefully, knowing that she was exposed and any dormant lyme could still show up. Guest guest
I have a free lyme resource computer Cd. It's contains a lot of the information I collected in the 3+ year fight to help my wife finally get her Chronic Lyme into remission. There are many different protocols that people use. Buhner, abx as you already know. Plus salt/c, rifing, colloidal silver and so on. All have sections on the CD. See my website to download or request a free copy. No charge for postage if its in US or Canada. www.lyme-resource.com You can lead a person to a fact, but you can't make them think! - > [ ] please comment on my son's results > > So I had my 2.5 year old tested even though he is not really > showing any symptoms just because I am a neurotic mommy who > doesn't really know how long she has had Lyme. > > I did nurse him for 2 years prior to knowing what I had so I > had a constant worry. > > His Igenex results were IGM WB Negative with no bands positive. > > IGG WB positive with 30++, 39+, 41+++, 58+ > > We are in TX and my LLMD does not treat kids, so I am sort on > my own here.
