Guest guest
I was referred to a conventional Endocrinoligst for my symptoms of chronic fatigue and low blood sugar. Since all my blood sugar and immune test were normal the doctor felt my problems were related to my hypothalamus. He said something about this part of my brain connected to my autonomic nervous system and in my case my autonomic system was not functioning properly causing all my symptoms (it can get out of whack from stress). He said that anti depressants help to bring it back to balance. I left his office with samples of Prozac to try. Instead of taking Prozac I am using the herb St. s Wort. I'm looking for some information on the hypothalmus gland. Can anyone clarify it's function...how it might malfunction and steer me in the right direction as to treating a malfunctioning hypo-thalmus? It is in your brain...right? I've done several engine searches and have come up with very little information. I'd appreciate anything anyone has to share about this. Thanks in advance, DL ____________________________________________________________________ More than just email--Get your FREE Netscape WebMail account today at http://home.netscape.com/netcenter/mail

It cautions a sensitivity to light, but most people don't realize that includes headlights at night while driving. They become blindingly bright. Take a visual compound like Solaray's Visio, or at least get some bilberry, which will help correct that light sensitivity. jim -- jim@... http://www.doorway.to/madscience http://www.doorway.to/poetry ICQ:16531148 amicus certus in re incerta

Guest guest
I would just like to share that I was feeling TERRIBLE - extreme fatigue and an intense feeling of viewing the world through a thick haze. I wemt to my NAET Dr. and he discovered that my hypothalamus was severely out of wack. He put me on Biotics Cytozyme-PT/HPT. I've been taking them since Fri and I feel like a new person. Just wanted to let you know that if anyone else is feeling this way it may be your hypothalamus. Guest guest
It is the supplement that I am taking to help with my brain fog. It's helped a lot. I was so bad that I was actually losing time! I purchased mine at my NHP but it's available on line. Lynne >What is this?
