Guest guest Posted June 20, 2002 Report Share Posted June 20, 2002 I've been on " the diet " for about 3 months now and am starting to get impatient in not feeling as good as I thought I would. Granted I was on antibiotics for 15 years (acne), but I feel like I have been doing everything I could possibly do and have reached a plateau. Initially my doc did some test and bloodwork. I began taking all sorts of supplements (selenium, magnesium, Vit C, calcium, chromium, B complex...). After 2 weeks on the diet I noticed a lot of change, mostly my sinuses cleared up (I could breath!) and I was no longer allergic to my dog. After being on the diet for a month my doc added diflucan (1Xday). I also started caprylic acid (2Xday). After taking both the diflucan and cap. acid i would take acidophilus. I tried to rotate different strands of acidophilus. I also had 6 colonics, one w/ an implant. The caplylic acid didn't seem to work (plus it was very hard to find it enteric coated), so I tried Oregano oil (wild). that didn't seem to do much, and now I'm currently using olive leaf (which doesn't seem to be doing much. I just feel like there's got to be something else out there. I've keep to the diet very strict. also, through my bloodwork i found out i had hypothyroidism and have been taking synthroid (which i want to change because it is making my hair fall out. I felt a big difference in energy level after the first month of Synthroid, but haven't noticed a bigger difference once all of my diet and killing off occurred. And lastly, i never really felt a " die off " . that just makes me wonder if i am doing something wrong. ANYONE with ANY suggestions please e-mail my at jeabaray@...
