Guest guest
Hey , Isnt it the best to vent to people who understand you! The problem Is that the doctor I saw is supposedly experienced with liver diseases. Maybe hes so experienced that he pays more attention the the people who are at a serious stage. He probably sees alot of people who are in a serious condition, and when a chronic worrier comes in with only mild symptoms he just wants to shrug me off. Just a guess. Again, I am very lucky to have caught this early and sympathize with people who are alot worse off then me. Whats wrong with your boyfriend? Hope you are well Elena --- " .Hutchinson " <brandy.hutchinson@...> wrote: > From: " .Hutchinson " > <brandy.hutchinson@...> > > Elena > > I toldly understand how you feel, pay no attention > to your boyfriend, > and your doctor does not sound all that great!! > > It's important that you ask questions, the sad thing > is your doctors > reaction was most likely like that because he does > not have the answers > to your questions. > > Ask for fa second opion!! Guest guest
Elena I toldly understand how you feel, pay no attention to your boyfriend, and your doctor does not sound all that great!! It's important that you ask questions, the sad thing is your doctors reaction was most likely like that because he does not have the answers to your questions. Ask for fa second opion!! It took me a long time to get two good doctors that will answer all questions and if they can not then they find someone who can. As for taking my spouse to these appointments, I find it less stressful going by myself, well at least in the room by myself!! I have enough problems, then having to deal with his ignorance!!! I'm a little upset with jeff today!! Guess i'm venting alittle too!!

Guest guest
Charlene: I am AIH since Oct 1997 and I still haven't worked full time. My doctor at home here says no because there is a family to take care and stay away from stress related places. I hope maybe someday I will be able to go back but I don't think it will happen soon. Guest guest
Hi Charlene: I was diagnosed with AIH in 1985. I was told to " retire and try to enjoy the rest of my life stress free " by my doctors after a major esophageal bleed in 1994. Hmmmmm ... has anyone been able to do that yet?? LOL In either event, I was able to obtain SSD in 1996 and am presently still on it. I personally do not have the energy nor the mental capacity to hold down a full time job any longer. I was a criminal defense law paralegal prior to my obtaining " retirement " status. Any ideas? Charlene > Dear Charlene, When I was diagnosed in 1997, I was working also. They held my job for some time for me until it became apparent to me that I would not be able to go back. I thought I was well on the way to recovery after 6 months and asked my doc. if I could go back for 4 hours a day. He replied " Maybe 2 hours a day " . I had to leave my job. I could never work. Have never felt that I could hold down a job since either(office work at that point). I am permanently retired. I don't think I could mentally or physically handle it anymore. I am 62 yrs. old and can afford to stay at home so I really don't care anymore. If I were younger, I think it would be different. Guest guest
Christy, Have you gone to the Doctor to be checked because it could be something else. If you have it there will be burning and itching in that femine area. Also a film of yeast that you have to wash or wipe off. I wash a lot. It is part of life to take care of our selves. Guest guest
Hi everyone, I just wanted to share what I jst read in the paper. In New York, a temporary treatment to block organ rejection has remained effective for up to a year so far in monkeys that got transplanted kidneys. Scientists hope the experimental treatment will one day free some transplant patients from having to take anti rejection drugs for the rest of their lives. Researchers are now planning studies of the experimental treatment in people. Its looks promising, doesnt it.
