Guest guest
My husband was diagnosed a few months ago (w/Meniers) and his is staying fairly under control, at least so he can drive and work, by taking a daily zyrtec. This seems to keep the fluid from building up in his ears and reduces the dizziness. He also got mostly off caffeine and cut his salt intake. teri ---------- From: Jody Compton Sent: Wednesday, October 27, 1999 2:07 PM Liversupport Subject: [ ] (no subject) From: Jody Compton <compton_61@...> Hello everyone.. My boss was just diagnosed with Meniers disease. Is there anyone out there who has been given any kind of medication or therapy for this disease. It's completely incompasitated her. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I have recommended that she find a Meniers support group on line. does anyone belong to one which I could forward onto her? Guest guest
: While i was cleansing for my Candida I had stomach problems, ended up i had Helicobacter--Pylori another parasite, The specialist gave me 2 antibiotics , & another med. My Candida Dr. said my herbs would take care of it & it did, that was last year, look this up to see if you have any of the symptons for it, & let me know! take care! Guest guest
Mogdrmom What a great letter. I looked up the heliocobacter pylori and found it is a bacteria. It is indeed treated with antibiotics. It seems docs used to think ulcers were from too much stomach acid but are finding out it is from the heliocobacter bacteria. I will definatley bring this up with my doctor. He is a gi specialist so I am hoping he already knows about this and will treat me accordingly. I am no longer afraid to become actively involved with my health care. Once we get the stomach taken care of I can treat the candida and other parasites. Thanks again for bringing this up. Who knows I just might get better and start the old healing routine. Wouldn't that be great? I did read that spicey foods do not cause ulcers so that means I can eat my mexican food. I love salsa and chili's but had to give them up becuase my stomach couldn't handle them. While taking the reglan I cheated today and had a chili verde burrito. It tasted so good and so far, an hour later, no problems. We will see what happens tonight. I do realize spicey foods can aggrivate the stomach so will have to eat with great moderation. This also means so many foods that are on the candida list that I couldn't tolerate before I might be able to now. You have no idea how good it feels to eat again. Even the candida diet sounds good at this point. Thanks again and I will keep you posted. I am putting the name of the bacteria in my purse right now so I won't forget. You have been so understanding and so helpful. I had never even heard of this until you brought it up. The other thing is no more self diagnosis. I need to find a good, competent doctor and work with him to help me get well again. That and finding a good naturapath. your friend brenda

Guest guest
kAREN Bless you for understanding. This has been so frustrating. I have the sneaky suspicion God is trying to get me to believe in myself more thru this. I am shocked at how depressed I got the last couple of days. I know it is because I am so run down and sick with this candida. I wish I could take the natural products. The doc did give me a one prescription of something that starts with a " d " . Doflycan or something to that effect. I don''t think one day is going to get rid of this but it make be a start. I am so anxious to met the new doc and pray he will do the candida test and get things rolling. Thanks for the advice. I have been very interested in anyone who has had such a struggle with this. Thank you so much for your info.
Guest guest
, It sounds like you need to use a great deal of care in choosing your product you use, as well as your diet. I tried a couple of Candida diets, and they made me really sick. What I ended up doing after that was going off the diet and medicines. For the Candida, I used flax seed oil and FOS (fructooligosaccharides), which help the acidipholus work, as well as this feeds off the yeast. I also ate yogurt with every meal, since it contains the acidipholus, and seemed to work better for my body. I also ate a diet rich in beta carotine. So, start slow with just one product, then add more if that is tolerated well. And find the vegetable rich in beta carotine that you like, and stock up on it. Also, your body may tolerate prescription drugs for Candida better than the natural products. The depression could be a symptom of your body not getting enough nutrition. Listen to your body more than you listen to other people. I sincerely hope you get to feeling better soon. --- 1005@... wrote: > Hi Friends > > I haven't written for a couple of days because I > have been so depressed. Guest guest
, I have to share with you that I douched with white Vinegar and drank some apple cider vinegar in a full glass of water and I got imediate relief from the candia. I did this last night and had no problems today. So I covered the bottom of a glass with vinegar and drank that tonight. I went to the vinegar home page and it said that it killed fungas, yeast, mold and bacteria. So simple. All I know it worked for me. Cheerfully Myra Re: (no subject) From: 1005@... kAREN Bless you for understanding. This has been so frustrating. Guest guest
AAAAGGGGHHH. Ok now maybe I can start to feel better. I had tried the yeast free diet as best I could not quit 100% for 3-4 weeks. I didn't see a noticeable difference and got frustrated with not having time to go to all the different stores to get the right foods and didn't have the time to make everything from scratch. I had consulted a dietician specializing in working with people on the yeast connection and with Interstitial cystitis. I feel absolutely overwhelmed. Not to mention we're in the final month (hopefully) of adopting our 20 month old son who has 12 specialists and is having his 4th surgery this month. How do I know if I'm just overloaded, stresses, yeast-controlled or what? These yeast book seems to claim everything under the sun and moon is controlled or can be controlled by yeast? HHHMMM Sorry to be a pest I'm just majorly overwhelmed. (30)
Guest guest
Dear , You are ok . You do have a lot to be concerned about. It is all over imune systems. I feel like you do in that we are to eat such a restricted diet, how could our immune systems get better. I started eating a balanced diet of meat, fish, poultry, vegetables, lots of greens, I do eat yams with the greens as they balance out our hormonal system. You will feel it right away when you eat them. I did even before the yeast. I do not eat sugar, but do eat fruit sometimes, and a little honey sometimes as I am a diabetic and my blood sugar goes to 19 and 54 at the highest so my doctor told me too. I do not have a lot of yeast right now, and I am eating a balanced meal of all the food groups. I do feel stronger and am getting more done now. Not sleeping as much either.
