Guest guest
Moving Thoughts Maybe God wants us to meet a few wrong people before meeting the right one so that when we finally meet the right person, we will know how to be grateful for that gift. When the door of happiness closes, another opens, but often times we look so long at the closed door that we don't see the one which has been opened for us. The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch and swing with, never say a word, and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had. It's true that we don't know what we've got until we lose it, but it's also true that we don't know what we've been missing until it arrives. Giving someone all your love is never an assurance that they'll love you back! Don't expect love in return; just wait for it to grow in their heart but if it doesn't, be content it grew in yours. It takes only a minute to get a crush on someone, an hour to like someone, and a day to love someone, but it takes a lifetime to forget someone. Don't go for looks; they can deceive. Don't go for wealth; even that fades away. Go for someone who makes you smile because it takes only a smile to make a dark day seem bright. Find the one that makes your heart smile. There are moments in life when you miss someone so much that you just want to pick them from your dreams and hug them for real! Dream what you want to dream; go where you want to go; be what you want to be, because you have only one life and one chance to do all the things you want to do. May you have enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trials to make you strong, enough sorrow to keep you human, enough hope to make you happy. Always put yourself in others' shoes. If you feel that it hurts you, it probably hurts the other person, too. The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything that comes along their way. Happiness lives for those who cry, those who hurt, those who have searched, and those who have tried, for only they can appreciate the importance of people who have touched their lives. Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss and ends with a tear. The brightest future will always be based on a forgotten past, you can't go on well in life until you let go of your past failures and heartaches. When you were born, you were crying and everyone around you was smiling. Live your life so that when you die, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying. Please send this message to those people who mean something to you, to those who have touched your life in one way or another, to those who make you smile when you really need it, to those that make you see the brighter side of things when you are really down, to those who you want to let them know that you appreciate their friendship. And if you don't, don't worry, nothing bad will happen to you, you will just miss out on the opportunity to brighten someone's day with this message. >>
Guest guest
I bought some stevia powder from the health food store...and I use it to sweeten my herbal teas...that will help some...I fight the urge for sugar all the time too...it is so hard <Do you (all of you) have any suggestions? I feel desperate at this point and this sugar binging is destroying my body. My bowels are messed up, I'm depressed, I have heartburn (another case for not eating meat) I cannnot seem to stick to one way of eating... Thanks for your input.... Guest guest
Hi there Perhaps you first need to look at why you are craving sugar all the time. We all have periods that we crave sugar, but I think its unusual to want it all the time. Do you think its more your brain telling you this or your body? You could try taking Chromium which levels out your blood sugars. Try having small snacks every two hours or so, to keep your sugars stable. Meat doesn't always give you indigestion =, unless you are eating it along with starches. Try eating chicken and a salad. I tend to get indigestion if I eat too much meat, or combine it with the wrong food combinations. Too many grains would make your blood sugars even more unstable. Try having say - porridge for breakfast (rolled oats) with soymilk and stevia (stevia will seem sweet and this might help). Lunch - have carbs like potatoes/rice/millet/etc with a salad. Tea Chicken and salad or Felafel and salad. I snack on hummus and corn chips (unflavoured) or cream cheese (limited) on Ryvitas - I do eat nuts as they don't seem to bother me. I also have liquorice and lemongrass organic tea. This is really sweet and pleasant, and liquorice helps to stabilise blood sugars. This curbed my craving for sweets. Look, I know some might disagree here, but the odd cup of sweet tasting herb tea is better than plunging into the biscuit tin. I try and balance what my body tells me, and survive this diet and disease at the same time. I also pray when I feel weak, as the Lord said that when we are weak, He is strong. Works for me! Its just hard remembering God when the biscuit tin calls...... but I have been behaving again for 3 days now. Finally back on track after the 3 day ordeal. It was a lesson well worth learning. I cannot cheat, I just get sick very quickly. Hope this helps anyway Love (no subject) HI, I was just diagnosed with candida, and am having trouble with my sugar cravings--more intense than I've ever had them because of the overgrowth. I'm not sure what diet to go on--I feel so out of touch withmy body that I don't know what it wants. I would either like to go on a macrobiotic diet (but maybe that is too many grains--I feel triggered even by too much brown rice or millet) or on a Eat Right For Your Blood Type diet, but I'm afraid that eating too much protein will cause sugar cravings and exacerbate my constipation. I want to heal my candida and heal my whole body, and I'm afraid that eating animal products will counteract the healing. I have a perception that only eating vegan or mactiobiotic will heal my body on a cellular level. Do you (all of you) have any suggestions? I feel desperate at this point and this sugar binging is destroying my body. My bowels are messed up, I'm depressed, I have heartburn (another case for not eating meat) I cannnot seem to stick to one way of eating... Thanks for your input.... I'm thinking that all this cayryilic acid, all these herbs I'm wasting my money because I keep going back to the sugar... Guest guest
Christel, I got a lot of that out of me too during the last month of the Awareness cleanse. It looked like jelly fish type things. When I asked about it, was told it was a type of parasite. I never found a picture of one to identify exactly what parasite it was. I got a lot of them though and they seemed to come out in large numbers at a time. ~Karmahttp://loaves-n-fishes.com My on-line health food store with over 200 manufacturers, and over 5,000 products!http://www.karma.awarenesshealth.com Awareness Products, parasite and colon cleanses, Mediterranean botanicalshttp://www.andale.com/gallery?cid=6262336 & mid=1 & pId=2 Current auctions on e-bay -----Original Message-----From: Christelti@... Guest guest
sugar free candy?? is it realy sugar free? anyone eat this, or is it a no no i got a sample of stevia, i think it is great, how is it in baking. Donna Jean I couldn't eat sugar free candy b/c I'm sensitive to artificial sweeteners. However, I only tried the candies with nutra-sweet, aspartame, etc. I didn't try any with Stevia (if they have such a thing) or anything like that. _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com

Prednisone use can present problems with high-blood pressure, water retention, and obesity. An adult with liver disease should have a maximum of 1500 mgs a day. People with severe liver disease run into serious problems if they have too much salt. Best to establish low-salt habits for as early as possible (easier said than done, I know!) Guest guest
Mog, I feel so goofy -- I missed this note of yours back in Sept., but I am CATCHING UP -- going to stop a lot of my other e-mails so I can focus on this group. I think that I need to focus on the spiritual side of my healing more. I am learning about fear and really soul-searching as to how that might be hindering my receiving my healing. I will keep you and everyone posted. I just wanted to say that I was a singer in a southern gospel group -- The Gospel Revival! It was a very small deal -- we sang in very small churches and did some bigger concerts with other groups -- one of which was my FIRST and I had stage fright and FORGOT AMAZING GRACE -- the words!! What a trip -- can't help but laugh now -- even then -- nothing else could help! I hope you had a blessed time on your trip! God bless you and everyone on this group. I appreciate the prayers so much -- revisiting the letters of prayerful encouragement means so much to me. I plan to keep them to show me how far the Lord is bringing me and how I got here through his grace, mercy and YOUR prayers!! Thanks sisters!!! Guest guest
Gena, I'm out of the loop, so if these things have been mentioned, please forgive...just making my semi-annual pilgrimmage. >G< Have you tried vaginal douche with diluted grapefruit seed extract? Your symptoms might be sexual-contact related. This substance is quite effective for vaginal yeast, and it can at least reduce your partner's contact with the organism, which can be passed back and forth, making it hard to eradicate. Just a suggestion. Topical Australian Tea Tree Oil (not ingested) may also help the external affected areas. Hope this helps. Guest guest
Robin I for one was not the least put off by your questions and comments. If you don't ask, from all perspectives, how do you learn. And if no one questions and puts another thought in your mind, you're in the same rut here as you are with the docs who push drugs. A conversation is a two way street, its not an attack, its another point of view. Zocor destroyed my brother's liver. He passed away in November. I can't understand why such a drug is so freely handed out. Diane

Guest guest
Hello kimn01@..., In reference to your comment: è What is the general medical purpose for zocor? Well this drug is used to lower ones cholesterol, but.....the side effects are horrid, and you have to have blood taken every other month or some docs say once every 6 months to monitor your liver.... in other words it can reak havoc on ones liver.. and if you have had any liver problems at all this drug or any like it are not for you.. Milk Thistle is a great alternative.. taken in high dosages in a tinture .... takes longer to work but.. no side effects Robin
Guest guest
Most hyperthyroidism has nothing to do with the thyroid gland! The thyroid gland is reacting to exhausted adrenals, so you may/probably need adrenal support. TSH is not a good way to treat patients, especially once they are on thyroid meds. You might want to find a doc who knows more about thyroid/adrenals and other medicines besides T4 only. Guest guest
I wish i could help you. I know that a few months ago i was having bouts of irregular heartbeat followed by blackouts. It was totally random and i still havent put a cause to it but the symptoms that I had prior to hitting the floor started with feeling very cold inside, then fast heart rate, then feeling extremely dizzy, feeling warm now, then loss of vision, and next thing i know im on the ground with a headache. The only thing i can think of to cause this is possible dehydration as I seem to have a hard to holding onto water. I wish I could help more but im in the dark as well. My endo said if I had adrenal problems my bp should have elevated, instead it went very low, the diastolic going into the 40s and other symptoms that looked like heart attack turned out to be a gastric reaction to the cortisol injection. I'm in a small town, the endo is from Kenya (and seems to be very bright although young) and she could not connect how the drop in bp might indicate adrenal problems according to her experience. The irregular beats have been picked on several tests and I wore a heart monitor for a month and it picked them up almost continually, all hours and situations. I have done some reading on postural hypotensions and postural tacchycardia. Those can be related to dehydration. Any suggestions or thoughts that might help me through diet or supplements. OR any ideas what might be going on? I have had some extraordinary events during this time that have been stressful but the pending diagnosis of anxiety attacks don't fit my profile. Guest guest
Hi Marge, I have just researched a lot about paleo diets and similar, and drs. Eades say in their book " Protein Power " that after going on a low-carb diet, in the beggining the body is losing a lot of excess water and with it minerals or something like that, so they urge people that they take potassium supplements up to 400 mg per day for a few months. And it is known that a lack of potassium can cause irregular heartbeats! Also, they recommend magnesium strongly for most people, but you probably know this already... Balance between cal/mag is important though most people are deficient in magnesium after the SAD diet. Hope this helps, Jana > > Since just a little while into this diet program I have > had irregular heartbeats and shortness of breath. > > It is worse when I eat (sometimes) and when I try > to sleep, also I often awake around 4am with increased > heartbeat symptoms. > > I have been through the gamut of heart tests, pulmonary > tests are nearly completed with nothing found, and am > preparing to see an allergist just in case. OR any ideas what might be going > on? ==>Minerals are very important for stabilizing irregular heartbeats, so hopefully you are taking ocean sea salt, at least 1-1/2 teaspoons per day. You would probably benefit by taking extra minerals from a good collidial brand like ConcenTrace from Radiant Life: www.4radiantlife.com, or Organika organic colloidal trace minerals: www.organika.com - take 10 drops two times per day. ==>Also ensure you are taking all of the supplements recommended in my article - most are very important for irregular heartbeats, and that you are eating enough saturated fats according to the ratios recommended in the Candida Diet folder - the heart prefers saturated fats which also gives the cells integrity and strength. Red meats are important too, for B12, and other heart nutrients. > > I have had some extraordinary events during this time > that have been stressful but the pending diagnosis of > anxiety attacks don't fit my profile. I have been through > things that probably very few go through and yet no > history of anxiety attacks during those horrific events. > So I am not ready to be labeled without finding out > more. ==>You do not have to have full-blown anxiety attacks for your body to operate on the fight/flight system, which is the sympathetic nervous system, that causes irregular heartbeats, shortness of breath, etc. See the article " Adrenal Malfunction and How to Improve It " in the Treatments Folder, and also do breathing exercises in the " Breathe Properly - For overall health! " folder, and also in that folder see " Breathing Through Your Nose " and " Nitric Oxide - the New Hero of Human Biology " which explains how important nitric oxide is for the heart, which means breathing through your nose - humming increases the production of nitric oxide in the nose. ==>I wouldn't recommend seeing an allergist because most of their tests are totally inaccurate, and they use the wrong substances - often non-organic foods that are loaded with pesticides, etc. - also know that healing reactions are not allergic reactions, especially if you are eating unadulterated foods on this diet - find out more in the " Allergies, What They Are & Treatments " . I hope that helps. Bee
