Guest guest
Hi Lily, welcome to the club. It is ok to tell it like it is. I for one appreciate true feelings. Things are either black or white to me it either is or isn't. I truly believe that when people tell the truth they get to the bottom of what ills them. Cheerfully, Myra RE: Venting & Difficult People From: " Liz " <lizr828@...> Hey Sweetmeat, I'm glad you vented with us! Now I know that this is exactly the kind of list I was hoping for and that the folks who speak up here are caring, real people. At last! But then maybe all the years we've had to deal with the most uncaring (or just plain ignorant) physicians, friends, family members, and even strangers have helped. It's nice to see people who are willing to give you a shoulder to lean on during the rough times and some good, tested advice when that's needed too.. I sympathise with the " different attitude " you encountered. Everybody has his/her own belief on what works (and many of them are valid) but to give someone an earful just because (s)he doesn't believe the same thing is sad. But then there's always something that's going to get to people. I guess I should know, I'm a stay-at-home, organic/simple living, vegetarian, naturo/homeopathic health believing, homeschooling Mama Chick. Trust me, I find *lots* of people who have a problem with something I do or believe in! And that's okay...well as long as they're not venting their feelings *rudely* in my face! LOL Sorry for the lenght, I'll shut up and get back to lurking :-) Lily ---------------------------
