Guest guest
By a vaginal thrush I guess you mean, inflamation in the vagina. I had a terrible problem like you for years and years, but now no more. First of course you know about the diet. Yeast loves antibiotics, food which ferments, like fruits, vinegar, wheat, all junk food like cakes with sugar etc, I'm sure you have read about that. Well I would use vaginal creams and then the yeast would go away, but then I was always inflamed. I then realized that the inflamation was actually coming from the urethra and spreading out into the vagina. So I realized that all those creams were actually creeping up my urethra and giving me urine bladder infections. So now I use absolutely no creams. Nothing!!!! I realized that to make sure that no bacteria goes up my urethra, I had to drink loads of water, to make sure that if anything does get up the urethra (like from intercourse) the water would flush it out real fast. I mean lots of water! There are many more things that must be avoided but I do not know if your case is like mine was. I still cannot ever drink a soft drink or alcohol. I cannot have tomato sauce like for pasta. Fresh tomatos are ok. Also the other problem I discovered, to avoid inflamations, I have to make sure that my urine is alkali. I do that by drinking carrot juice or eating an enormous salad for breakfast. In the salad I use cold pressed olive oil, no salt and apple cider vinegar, I will get inflamed if I use lemon or wine vinegar or any ready made salad dressing. Like I said, I don't know exactly how you are suffering, but I could say one thing, and that is that I was suffering for 20 years, and now I know how to control the problem completely! Too bad I hadn't figured out everything before when I first began with all that problem! Bye for now Marie
Guest guest
Dear Marie (ninjax), Many thanks for your kind e-mail. I do have a vaginal inflammation which sounds similar to yours, so I'll try the things you've suggested. I'm glad you've got your symptoms under control now! It's nice, for solidarity reasons, to start hearing about other women like me who've suffered recurring vaginal candida over years, because it can really get you down as it affects your sex life and therefore your self esteem. Thanks Marie. Best Wishes, .
