Guest guest
There's a bunch of stuff in our archives on that if you search sinus. l paste some of it in here, too. In addition to these, Ann said she thought MSM helped her allergies, which were causing sinus trouble, I think. Louise ------------------ Just remembered one other thing that I do when it's bad -- boil a pan of water and put in some dry eucalyptus or use essential oil eucalyptus in the water. Will open and dry up sinuses in less than 30 min usually. No side effects at all except that you have to watch over the boiling pan. Karal ------------------------ Two things that help me: Cayenne pepper drops (diluted in water) and ginger tea. Other teas are good, but ginger's spices really work on opening up the sinuses. When it's 3 AM and nothing else is working, I use ginger tea, very hot, and it helps. Best, Barb Lien ---------------- I was looking through my copy of the Yeast Connection, and I found a suggestion that I am trying for my sinuses. In the book, it suggests that you dump a little nystatin in a store-bought saline nasal spray (like Ocean Spray or Sea Mist). I did happen to have some left-over nystatin that a doctor had given me a while ago. So I did that..... I emptied one capsule of nystatin in the half-used bottle of saline spray. You are supposed to spray in to your nose twice a day. I;ve only started this " plan " today. They caution that you might experience increased die off for the first few days. If this works, I'll let you all know. If you don't have nystatin, I would think that emptying one of your Kyolic caps into it would work the same.... after all, garlic is also a powerful yeast killer. If you use the odorless garlic preps, you shouldn't even have to smell it. Lynn --------------- I used 5 drops of tea tree oil in the saline nasal spray. Shake it up real good before each use. The first few times it stung like crazy, but then the sting slowly disappeared. I haven't had sinus infections since doing this. lindaj@... ------------------ Source Naturals Aller Response ( a mixture of vitamins and herbs for allergies) is EXCELLENT and cured most of my sinus problems completely after taking double the suggested dose on the bottle for about 4 months (2 tabs, 3x daily). You can't OD on any of the stuff in it by doubling the dosage. I'm thinking of trying it again to bring my immune system back up. ~ ------------------------- Any Help for Sinus Misery I have had chronic sinus congestion for about 6 months now, no doubt from the Candida situation. Is there anything that helps with this? I'm in the process of all-out war, killing the candida with diet and anti-fungals, so I assume the sinus problem will be taken care of eventually. But in the mean time, is there any natural herb that can ease this congestion and drip? KB Send blank message to candidiasis-unsubscribeonelist if you want to UNSUBSCRIBE !
