Guest guest
You could try a topical application of undeclynic acid or caprylic acid in addition to the internal supplements. The natural substances should have no effect on your skin, just on the surface yeast. Also, more antibiotics will just increase the yeast imbalance in your system, especially if you don't do massive implants of positive bacteria during and after the doxycycline. Please Help With Prostatitis Well, here I am again. The weather has changed from hot to cooler and I have my yearly case of Prostatitis. I have had problems with IBS and yeast infections for years. Last years Prostatitis came with a yeast infection on my penis. Nice, huh? I'm getting frustrated and I know that when I call my Dr, she will just give me 10 days of Doxycycline. Any suggestions???? -M

Guest guest
They would be similar to a vaginal infection or thrush, which is white, creamy or flaky. The color, though, is primarily white. You'll probably want to check with a doctor to confirm that it is in fact yeast, rather than a different bacterial infection or strain. Guest guest
I'm not familiar with the substances that you mentioned. FYI, I dont have a yeast infection at this time, I just have symptoms of Prostatitis. Pain at the end of my penis, rectal pain especially when sitting, frequent urination, discharge of pre-seminal (prostatic fluid) when I urinate. > You could try a topical application of undeclynic acid or caprylic acid in addition to the internal supplements. I don;t have any major rashes but I feel like jumping out of my skin, have a weird feeling around my toes. Bladder type problems are also back. Why would the change in the weather set me back liek this? G
Guest guest
Hi , read with great interest the thread about prostatitis and candida . I'm wondering if I was affected by this also...it's kind of embarrassing to talk about . Over a period of several years , I would get kind of a rash on my penis...maybe 3-4 times a year . Was tested for all kinds of causes ( herpes etc ) and found no apparent cause . Could find no info about it either . Now , I'm wondering if my candida infection was the culprit all along . I also had some rectal pain involved , had tests done for that too ( colonoscopy etc ) ...found nothing . Doctor had me on Sporonox , Nystatin , and a couple other anti fungals , prescription and herbal . No real improvement . My candidida infection is mainly intestinal and I've been fighting it for the past two years . Had my amalgam fillings done about a year ago and debated whether to try SF-722 . Finally started taking the SF-722 in August of this year . Since I've been taking it ... I'm starting to feel better , more normal...intestinally and otherwise . Could this Sf-722 be the real deal ? I'm also trying to stick to the diet , but it's INCREDIBLY tough ! > >Well, here I am again. The weather has changed from hot to cooler and I > >have my yearly case of > >Prostatitis. Guest guest
The diet is tough but I'm glad the SF 722 has been helping I have used the SF 722, in addition to Homozon and Threelac. The Homozon is EXTREMELY cleansing so I keep upping my dosage. The Threelac works well also, but I want to make sure that I can get the timing down so that the SF 722 only kills the yeast, not some other good bacteria. I'm also looking into some VERY strong probiotics (50 billion+ per capsule) because I have read several people who stated they were able to eliminate the yeast with 200 billion per day for a month or so. Maybe it just squeezes them out. I'm also investigating an electronic rife machine with a 464 hz cycle that is reputed to kill intestinal yeast, but I'm not sure if I want to spend the $300+ for that right now. Perhaps after Xmas. Anyway, the Homozon and Threelac are making a difference and I know the SF 722 did for me also. Good luck. With sugar cravings, 500 mg of glutamine under the tongue helps reduce the severity. It also helps with leaky gut syndrome. Re: Please Help With Prostatitis Hi , read with great interest the thread about prostatitis and candida . Guest guest
I am betting that it was a yeast infection on you. I have the candida problem but if i didn't use condoms with my husband, he would get a red rash on his penis. It would eventually go away on him after a few days. It is so tough staying on the yeast diet.

Guest guest
Thanks. I was looking into Friend for Life with 50 billion per serving of 5 different strains. Their information and explanation was pretty good but I haven't researched enough to purchase them yet. So far I have stuck with the Jarro and Prime Defense brands.
