Guest guest
Hi . I am sorry you are having such a rough time with WC. I do not post here often, but it struck me that you wrote you were upset that people (WC) thinks there is nothing wrong with you. In all of our struggles with arthritis, fibromyalgia, lupus, and other health problems, we have all had to deal with disbelief. I truely believe that it is a lesson that we ourselves should not be so quick to judge the amount of pain or suffering or severity of another person's illness. All too often people make snap judgements based on one or two occurances, failing to recognize the difficulties that may occur for the person after a particular activity has taken place. For example, people or WC may say you are fine to work because they see you driving various places, never realizing that you (or anyone) come home and pay for it, possibly for days. Or, maybe you could take a walk one day, does that make you any less sick? Does it mean you didn't pay for it for days? What people don't realize is that being sick, regardless of severity does not mean you cannot continue to live. I realize this is a bit off topic but I felt like it had to be said.
