Question about Enbrel injections

Hoping someone can help...

I have just started Enbrel injections (I'm allergic to

methotrexate) and I've only had 3 doses so far. The

first dose was given at the Dr's office (instruction)

and I've given the other 2 doses at home myself. My

question is.......is it usual or normal to bleed some

when you take out the needle? And, does anyone else

have trouble with bruising? I bruise so easily - even

when the nurse did it....but, of course, I've bruised

myself worse than she with the ones I've given.

Does anyone know how I can lessen the bruising or

bleeding? I think I'm not a good nurse! :) But at

least I'm not hurting anyone else I suppose!

Also, I would like to hear from others on Enbrel about

what side effects you are experiencing or what to look

for in the case of an allergic reaction. I've had

allergic reactions to Vioxx and Methotrexate and they

were so different that I didn't know I was having an

allergic reaction to the mtx, but the doctor caught it

thankfully. I've just gotten finished taking a double

dose pack of prednisone to counteract the damage the

mtx did to my lungs (hopefully) and have had a couple

of really rough days. Could this be from stopping the

prednisone? And will that get better?

I know I am just full of questions for yall - huh?

Thanks for any help. I'm on digest, so feel free to

email me privately if you like.
