My dr. told me to take NAC with it (for my liver) and said I could take milk thistle if I wanted to. I think one of the problems is that antifungals (prescription antifungals being the worst) kill off so much toxic matter that the liver is bombarded with the task of having to eliminate huge amounts at one time. So, if you take things to assist the liver, the trauma shouldn't be as severe. Just my thoughts. annette
Guest guest
I've tried taking Nizoral (ketoconazole) before but it upset my stomach too bad. http://www.hivdent.org/drugs/KETOCONAZOLE.htm I just came off two months of oral Lamisil and came across this web site. Interesting info for those taking Lamisil or Sporanox. http://www.fda.gov/cder/drug/advisory/sporanox-lamisil/advisory.htm > Has anyone had any experience with > this drug, or any similar antifungals? Guest guest
The drug In question sounds just that. I think and this is just an opinion and a gut feeling but anything that causes adverse side effects is better left alone. Check out this website http://www.geocities.com/HotSprings/4966/program.htm. The ladies name is Tripp and she has a very successful storie with tons of advice recipes and perhaps the wonder pill. I was able to find a doctor within ten miles from my house who carries the pill. I live in florida and lives in canada. I found it amazing that within 10 minutes of reading her story I was able to link up with a dr who will be able to help me Best Luck to you and anyone else fighting yeast

What do you guys think about the diet she says to follow? Eating cheese only when its cooked, and bread when its toasted? Has anyone else tried this? I got inspired when I read this website and bought the " pill " . But I haven't been taking it alone and have been rotating other antifungals with it. I haven't tried eating certain of those no, no's...... does anyone have another opinion? Roni

I have been using SF 722 for one month. I haven't been rotating it because on her website she said she took it continuously. I'm taking 2 three times a day. But I am rotating grapefruit seed extract, garlic caps, capryllic acid (rotating every 7 days). I'm also taking Primal Defense. I just got RM-10 in the mail. Oh and I'm using a liquid vitamin. And someone suggested taking MSM for my hair loss. And of course, following the diet for 7 weeks. Also starting putting some fresh garlic on my food. Anyways, I do feel alot better. I don't know actually what is contributing to it but something is working!!! What did your Doc say about rotating SF 722? Thanks! Guest guest
Hi Roni! I started my quest to rid myself of candida at Tripp's web site. I purchased Thorne's SF722 from Modern Herbalist.com which I have been on for 40 days now. I asked Dr. Schlesinger at MH about cheese and bread and he explained that by cooking cheese and toasting bread you are killing the fungal/yeast properties in them making them " safe " to eat. I've been sticking fairly closely to his recommended diet, which is similar to 's (she got hers from a ND in Idaho who my mom used) but have stayed away from cheese and bread anyway, preferring to be safe than sorry. Dr. Schlesinger recommends rotating anti-fungals because the yeast is great at adapting in your system, so I am going to start rotating in ParaMicrocidin (grapefruit seed extract) and Candimyacin (goldenseal root & others), using each for 4 days. I'm hoping to go for 60 days total and then see what symptoms remain. What other anti-fungals are you using? -Nikki --- roniron4@... wrote: > I have read this page also. Guest guest
Kate, There is a person who goes by Helping You on the Dr. Stoll message board who is without question one of the deepest sources of information about how to effectively treat Candidiasis. His approach is to obviously to stick to the diet, take up to 12-15 Primal Defense tablets each day and rotate (4 days each) the following anti-fungals: Candibactin DC3 Mycopryl *and* Biocidin I do not have a source for how to get these agents, but he mentioned that a Google search under these names and the word " Candida " would likely point to places to get them. The rotation is obviously key. I am tracking these items down now. If I find them, I will provide you with URL's. Good luck! --- Kate Bannon <katebannon@...> wrote: > Hi Ruth, > > Can you tell me the natural anti-fungals that worked > for you, or are working for you? Guest guest
I had no ill effects from taking the Lamisil. I just had my liver enzymes taken last week (along with many other blood work) and all is normal and good. Though I am far from being cured though I am glad I took the Lamisil because it has cut the time it takes to heal. I am closer now to being cured than I was two months ago. And am very happy with the results of my having taken prescription Lamisil. If the drugs are prescribed by a competent physician and followed up with regularly (by checking your liver enzymes at least monthly), you should do fine. Also, I found taking liver cleansing herbs and lots of vitamin C very beneficial while taking Lamisil. If you can tolerate the long and natural way to healing - more power to you. But if you are going crazy scratching your skin off and unable to wear clothes (like I was) and just totally miserable......then go see a doctor and get a prescription. :-) Lilly Ruth Reul wrote: > > Hi, Last year the doctor [allergy] wanted to put me on > Lamisil and I wouldn't take it . thank God for that " still > small voice " within .
