Guest guest
The eyes are red in the inner corners, itch, exude yellow stuff. As the candida ebbs in the body thru treatment, it clears in the eyes, too. In the meantime, try " Clear Eyes " for comfort. Guest guest
I recently had candida so bad in my sinuses, it had also infected my eyes through the tear ducts. My eyelids were extremely swollen for 2 months, my eyes burned really, really bad and I had a " gummy " discharge in the corners of my eyes. I work in a lab (background in microbiology), so I looked at a slide and sure enough it was yeast (which is NOT common in the eyes). Of course no eye Dr. would believe me, but I finally got a naturopath to prescribe me sporonox liquid. It has very slowly gotten better than it was. I still have very red-purple skin in the corners of my eyes (3 months later). I also used patenol eyedrops (prescription only), which helped a little with the inflammation. I think most of the problems come from the allergic or hypersensitive reaction that the candida sets off in the eyes. It is important though if you think it's yeast to get it treated promptly -- go to an opthamologist (hopefully they will be open minnded). Ocular candida can be especially destructive if left unchecked in the eye, especially if the patient has a weakened immune systems. Guest guest
I have been on a candida diet, as well as, Sporonox, which is a systemic treatment.
