I drove all the way to Coeur d'Alene Idaho to see a doctor who specializes

specifically on people with Candida problems~

I brought a box full of all the vitamins minerals and supplements I was

taking. Dr Piller began the muscle testing right away..another word for

this is " Applied Kinesiology "

(you may have seen this before with your chiropractor to find which parts of

the body need adjustment, and to check if an adjustment has been

successfully made etc.)

~Basically he has you hold out your arm to the side and he tells you to

resist when he presses down on your arm... your arm will either give in and

become weak, or it will be strong. Strong means " Yes " and weak means " No " .

For example, he put a product I was taking called " 4-Herb " and my arm

totally dropped~ my arm felt weak like a baby's arm

I asked Dr Piller, " How can that be.. I ordered that product from Herbal

for helping your liver cope with all of the detox. >>>>>>>>One tablespoon

in a large glass of water once per day. Increase to twice per day in a week

or so. Stay on this for 4 months. This will help the liver cope with

detoxification and boost the blood and immune system. This is really

important when detoxing the fungals or any other chronic infections like

viral Herpes, Hepatitis, HIV.. Many people have a candida rash due to the

toxicity of the liver and the infection coming out the skin. The tea also

helps with all forms of depression and helps raise energy levels. Liquid

Dr Piller informed me that the product contained alcohol in it as a

preservative. He said that alcohol feeds the yeast because that is straight

sugar in the body!!

He put another tincture in my hand that said on the label " The Herbalist

Anti Fungal tincture~supports the body's ability to eliminate yeast! "

Sounds pretty good right?

WRONG. He tested in my hand and my arm immediately dropped (he didn't even

have to press hard...he merely pushed his index finger on my arm and it went

down

I couldn't believe it!! He then showed me that this " anti fungal tincure "

I was using three times a day as instructed on bottle contained FORTY NINE

PERCENT ALCOHOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can you

believe that folks?

He went on to test another " Candida product " I had been taking for a month

called " Candigone " by Renew Life ~

it states quite clearly about this product that it contains " no yeast, no

sugar blah blah blah..

but wait a minute... the tincture in this product has all this alcohol which

is sugar which is feeding my yeast problem!!!!!!!!!!!

Moving on to product number four that I was taking...a product called " Yeast

Fighters " by twinlab I'm sure you've heard of it! Once again this tested bad

and I wondered why .. afterall it did say " YEAST FIGHTERS " on the label did

it not?

hmmmm... so we looked at ingredients and sure enough it said " apple pectin "

Once again more sugar and I am feeding my problem unbeknownst to me!

I was also taking " Daily Detox by Gaia Herbs .. and this had fig and apple

in it so once again I am feeding my problem.

Another touted " candida product I was taking to help with die off and

elimination contained " Cascara Sagrada " this was bad because your bowels

can get dependent on the Cascara Sagrada and then you will be constipated

unless you take this

~I was taking a product called " Capricin " which contains CAPRYLIC ACID

Dr Piller said CA is good however, the yeast mutates into different forms

and develops stronger strains and becomes resistant with the caprylic acid

that is why he gives you something called " SF-722 " .. this is Undecenoic

Acid derived from castor bean oil and he said it does not get resistant like

the Caprylic acid does.

~Moving on to good cultures I thought to myself that surely I could not go

wrong here...

I showed him the product which was by Dr Wallach called Killer Biotic

supposed to repopulate the gut . He put in my hand and my arm went down~he

showed me the ingredients: Colostrum (this is dairy which feeds candida)

Maitake (Grifola frondosa) Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum) Shiitake (Lentinus

edodes) ~Don't ask me to pronounce any of these .. but the bottom line ...

these are all MUSHROOMS.

MUSHROOMS=MOLD=CANDIDA

The digestive enzyme I was taking was from Udo's choice~ it contained

50,000 IU Bromelain (this is from pineapple this is sugar ) It also had

aspergillus oryzea (mold)

and barley malt and beet powder both of which feed candida~

Anyway, on and on and on we went (I won't list each and every supplement but

I think you all get the picture by now) You might be wondering also the

cost of all this~

Dr Piller charges in his clinic only $60 an hour and he spent THREE HOURS

WITH ME!!

He only charged me two~ and like Ann Giacometti, Tripp and others

have said.. the supplements he gives you are under $200

At first I have to be honest with you that I thought the whole muscle

testing/kinesiology thing was a farce but then after my arm was so very

strong with the vitamin c and then dropped like a helpless baby's arm with

alcohol tincture that it must mean something when I could test so completely

weak and helpless with particular thing when I had just been strong 2

seconds earlier! Dr Piller said that different muscles corresponded to

different organs along the lines of the meridians.

Another huge factor to consider in all this ... is that when you have

candida you are not digesting all your food properly and then you have a

whole other problem called " leaky gut syndrome " Dr Piller gave me some

Betaine Hydrochloride to take home and he said I would need that acid in

order for my body to break down my calcium. He also gave me the parathyroid

plus to get my parathyroid functioning again.

I know each and everyone of you on this candida board is going to have a

different symptom since candida can manifest itself in different areas of

the body and create different reactions ( immune deficiency, endocrine

insufficiency, central nervous system related problems..joint pain etc etc.)

For me personally it happened to manifest in my face (perioral area) with

severe redness and thrush

I understand that each person is going to be different but I would highly

highly recommend Dr Piller to anyone. I am just beginning his protocol but

I am very hopeful for the first time ever. I will keep you all posted with

my progress and experiences!
