Guest guest Posted August 17, 2000 Report Share Posted August 17, 2000 , the reason for the none weight loss is that you are ingesting foods that do not agree with your body. Basically, the candida diet is eating mostly raw, healthy natural foods. Funny, my son who is 8 asks me everynight to make him a salad. So, around 5 p.m. I cut up a green pepper, half a head of iceberg lettuce, purple onion, add hot peppers, feta cheese and raw garlic cloves. The salad is huge and the little guy wolfs the whole thing down. His dad, who I am in the throws of separating with (he is leaving our home in the coming weeks) gets so pissed with me and claims that I am not a good mom as I do not take cody to Mcs and give him and the others nothing to eat. Salad is our staple food here. I think it is great. I go through a ton of feta and cottage cheese, as well as a herd of fresh veggies. My neighbours use in half a year what I use in a week! I think I am providing good " real " food for the kids, the fact that I dont fry chicken or other crap does not bother me in the least. Sometimes I do bake chicken or make steak and other veggis, but for most nights it is just salad and feta. Anyhow.. Lee, I assume that you have successfully taken off some of those pounds in the past months that you are following the diet. Let us know of your progess.
