Guest guest
Hi to all! I am a holistic health counselor that forever refused to believe in Candida...but after years of my own clients AND MY OWN PROBLEMS, well, I have come to believe this is a HUGE problem in this country. Luckily, being in naturopathic medicine, I already know about such things as garlic, grapefruit seed extract, caprylic acid, liver herbs, etc. BUT I am confused about one product and hope to hear everyone's experiences with it- YOGURT. Some books say NO dairy at all, even yogurt, but other sources say yogurt, especially sugar-free, is one of the best things you can eat if you have candida. So- how does everyone feel about yogurt? I have found also that candida really seems to set off thyroid problems in many of the clients I have had- and another no-no for thyroid is any soy products, so my clients avoid tofu products. A cute note- one woman had a t-shirt made up that said " I'm not crazy, just yeastie! " HA HA! Glad to be here! Marcie ston Worcester, MA " Minds are like parachutes- they only work when open.
