The hose is not very long, just long enough I hope, I'll have to try it out. Then there is a small nozzle with a faucet and a bigger nozzle. I guess you can put the bigger nozzle instead of the smaller one, which way is the more comfortable, I guess. With the small one it'll take longer to get the enema in. The faucet works just fine. I suppose the faucet comes in as close to the body as possible. I got a bottle of hydroperoxide with it, to clean it later on with a 50 percent solution. ==>What you bought is an enema bag, which may be more difficult to use than the bulb syringe, because the bag needs to be hung up at a level higher than your body in order for it to work on gravity. Like I stated in the information on enemas the bulb syringe is much easier to use. So I hope your first experience using this device does not turn you off to doing enemas. > Is it a good idea to take in some extra vit C or magnesium, to get > loose stools just before? Or should I just do it the way I am normally? ==>It is not necessary to take anything to loosen stools before doing an enema. But do follow the directions in the Enema Folder carefully - you always clean out the bowel first by doing a plain water enema. > > I must say since I'm on the diet real good I have stools only once in> two days. ==>Are you eating enough food? Green loose stools indicates your body is getting rid of toxins. > <snip> > Everything I ate before and didn't give me trouble will make me feel > worse now. Do you have an explanation for that Bee? I thought, it must be because my body is getting rid of toxins more easily. ==>That depends upon what you were eating before. If it was foods not allowed on the candida diet, eating any of them will cause more severe reactions because the candida goes into a feeding frenzie because you are starving it, so it overgrows like mad. Once you change your body over to the diet you can't go back to eating things that are not allowed on the diet. > One thing I do experience is the pain in the sinuses. Or will it take much longer for these symptoms to subside? ==>What level is your next step? If it is adding antifungals, you would add them when you are totally following the diet, which shouldn't take much more than a month. If you are experiencing severe die-off symptoms (flu-like symptoms) stay on the diet longer before adding antifungals (other than coconut oil). It depends upon how severe your symptoms are, and whether you can function okay or not. I had to stay on the diet 6 months before I could even think of adding antifungals, and even then the die-off was severe. But because I lost my job I pushed through it anyhow. Sometimes it is a matter of pushing through and starting on antifungals - even taking time off work. Bee
Guest guest
Hi Bee, Yes, you could be right that I'm not eating enough. I'm eating as much olive oil, coconut oil, eggs and meat as I can. Also a lot of fat fish and other fish and shell food. I love fish, and I eat a lot of tuna and salmon with the homemade mayonnaise, in which I put also coconut oil. I find that the easiest way to take in the good fat. I like mayonnaise, and I have adjusted real fast to this new taste. It's not that different after all. I gradually increase the intake of fat, since I have had difficulties with that before. Even thinking of taking more of it makes me sick, but I do eat it a fair bit. As much as I can without forcing myself. I will try the enema set, if it's not what I like, I'll get another one. I'll ask for a bulb syringe then. It's the feeling in the intestines that I'm most afraid of. They have been fairly sensitive over the years. I've had times I would get severe cramps after eating gravy, and would have diarrhoea immediately after a meal that was too greasy, especially with gravy from butter. I changed to melt my butter instead of frying with it in large quantities. Also I have had diarrhoea for nearly a year, which gave me the creeps. I started loosing my hair and all, and the doctor didn't seem as alarmed as I was. I now understand what it must have been. I will read the instructions for an enema a few times before starting one. Also I will have to reread the files on the adrenal glands. It still hurts from time to time. I think I do need the extra rest. It's boring, but I give myself as much sleep and rest as I can. I don't feel lazy anymore, I know now it's something I have to do for my health. I was wondering already if I ate enough. So I changed from two soft boiled eggs in the morning to two. At first I thought I wouldn't be able to eat it. I'm trying to increase the amounts of what I eat, and eat an extra time in the day. I don't like meat a lot, and I have bought a lot of fresh fish today so I can eat to my heart's content without getting sick of it. I like my veggies better than I used to, I had changed that already a few years ago. I put a lot of butter on it, for I really love dairy butter. Today I got some goat's yoghurt in the health food store. I ate it with a little bit of salt and lime juice. It tastes really good, it's organic and it didn't give me the effect I experienced with goat's cheese. I do find it hard to eat enough. I'm not addicted to high carbs, but I find it difficult to live through these moments of relaxation that would be accompanied by a cooky, some crisps or chocolate. I do believe you can get addicted to high carbs. You are addicted to the adrenalin/serotonin rush. It all started when I was in a bad relationship that left me sad and craving for sweet things every time I would be left home alone. It got into a bad habit to resolve that with sweet things, just for the sake of the serotonin levels. I really had to go let that go slowly. I was fairly sick after I stopped the relationship. Mentally I felt not that bad, but my body was in a bad state. Acupuncture helped a lot in that period. When I was in that relationship I found it impossible not to eat sweet things. It was hard to run away from it, but gradually I improved my will power and when I had delivered myself from this addiction (the relationship) I felt stronger. My next step will be antifungals. I have oregan oil ready in the cupboard. I will wait until my head clears up. It's not that bad, but it's likely to get worse if I do it too soon. Thanks for the explanation. It makes sense, Herring's Law, because my last illness was a sinusitis. Maybe it will be a good idea to start on antifungals some time during a holiday. I'll have to be more patient.. I have been eating not too bad before. I'm fast sugars and starches free for two and a half year now. I have eased down a bit on the garlic, I will do that in phase two as well. I love the lemon salt drink, and when I think I deserve a treat I put lime in it, which has a softer taste with more subtlety. I'll have to start looking where I can buy the ' gros sel' here that I got from France last year, for I'm using it up fairly fast. I don't know when I will be able to travel again, I'm so tired at times. But that will be better when I can eat some more. Today I bought large and smaller shrimps, fresh sardines and some white fish. I just love fish and shell food, I get it not too dear at the market in town. My kids love it too. Thanks, Bee! I'm understanding it all better bit by bit. I'm well educated, and I do read a lot, my English reading is good as well, so it's not that it's too difficult it's just that you have to digest all the knowledge that are in the files. You have to incorporate it into your life as well. Make it your own. And see how it works out in daily life. It just takes time. Could it be my candida is not as bad as it was before (after child birth) but that it was more in the intestines than and that it has spread out more now? For some 12 years ago I would have cramps in my tummy even after eating an apple, and now I don't even have that much gas. The bloating is new though, since I had an inflammation in the stomach and intestines that hasn't left me. It was due to work stress then. Enough for now! Thanks Bee! I'm still learning, and I need my determination when I'm hungry and tired. a > ==>What you bought is an enema bag, which may be more difficult to use than the bulb syringe, because the bag needs to be hung up at a level higher than your body in order for it to work on gravity. Guest guest
Thanks Jasmina! That's the information I need! There is a clamp (like a small faucet) and there are two nozzles. I'll use the smaller one. I'll certainly do it when I will be alone!! Is there any trouble to be expected a few hours or day(s) after the first enema? How much time do you need to stay in? a -----Oorspronkelijk bericht----- Van: [mailto: ] Namens Jasmina Verzonden: zaterdag 14 januari 2006 22:13 Aan: Onderwerp: Re: [ ] Re: preparing my first enema Hi a, >Then there is >a small nozzle with a faucet and a bigger nozzle. I guess you can put >the bigger nozzle instead of the smaller one, which way is the more >comfortable, I guess. Please double check it. My equipment (which is a rubber hot water bottle with attachments) consist of both vaginal and rectal nozzles. Rectal is the smaller one, about 5 cm long. On the hose I have, there is a little clamp with which you can regulate the flow. It's better if you take the water/coffee in really slow. And - the first time is the worst! Just because you are not sure what to expect or if you are doing it the right way. After that it's a peace of cake. Trust me. Get the kids out of the house and take your time. I hope this helps... Guest guest
Dear a, You are doing everything right, so with time your health will improve. Fish is excellent to eat. Also, do try to include liver at least once a week. See additional notes below. > > Hi Bee, > > Yes, you could be right that I'm not eating enough. I'm eating as much olive oil, coconut oil, eggs and meat as I can. Also a lot of fat fish and other fish and shell food. ==>That's good you are trying to increase the good fats. Did you know that good fats don't require insulin but proteins and carbs do, and they are the most efficient source of energy for the body, required by every single cell, especially the brain which is 70-80% fat. <snip> > I will try the enema set, if it's not what I like, I'll get another one. Diarrhea is a very common healing symptom when your body gets the good fats it requires. > > I will read the instructions for an enema a few times before starting one. It's boring, but I give myself as much sleep and rest as I can. I don't feel lazy anymore, I know now it's something I have to do for my health. ==>It is good to know that rest is very necessary for healing. Even comas are a healing mechanism of the body. <snip> > I'm not addicted to high carbs, but I find it difficult to live through these moments of relaxation that would be accompanied by a cooky, some crisps or chocolate. When anyone gets sugar cravings they should first drink some water, and 2nd have more minerals (ocean sea salt). If they still have a craving they should take vitamin C. The last thing to try is to eat some protein. > Thanks, Bee! I'm understanding it all better bit by bit. I'm proud of you and what you are doing to get well. Keep of the good work! Luv & hugs, Bee

There is absolutely no trouble at all hours or even days after any enema. Just don't do them any oftener than recommended in the files because too many will intefere with the normal functioning of the large colon. Bee P.S. Please trim your messages my friend. Guest guest
Hi a, >Thanks Jasmina! That's the information I need! You are welcome. When I first subscribed to this list, and read that Bee highly recommended coffee enemas, I was literally frightened! I sad - NO WAY! Coffee from the other end? Anything from the other end? No, not for me... After a while, the idea didn't seem so gross anymore... the more I thought about it, the less weird it seemed... Finally I got the courage, bought the kit and did it! It wasn't bad at all... Eventually you will get used to it, and knowing it helps your liver to detox helps a lot. >Is there any trouble to be expected a few hours or day(s) after the >first enema? How much time do you need to stay in? As Bee already replied - no. At least not for me. I don't see any difference at all. When I'm out of bathroom, finished cleaning the equipment, I safely assume it's done. I've never had any " afterwards urge " to go to the toilet (except to pee) in the same day. But, if you want to be really sure, just schedule the time when you know you don't have to go out of the house to do it for the first time. I'm sending you my good vibrations... Love, Jasmina
