I was thinking of something else contained in meats. ALA is actually found in flax seeds or flax seed oil but it requires conversion to forms the body can use which are EPA and DHA. Candida sufferers are unable to do that conversion so that is why cod liver oil and fish oils are recommended because they contain EPA and DHA that do not require conversion by the body.
