I've been anti-candida for four months now. I've been doing low carb without a cheat for 16 months but I still ate dairy, low carb chocolates, coffee with cream, fake salad dressings, mayo and low carb ice cream which really caused a problem for me. During those first 12 months I only lost 20 pounds and then stalled (I have more than 200 to lose so this is not good). After 8 months I decided I needed to do anti-candida too, but it took me four months to slowly wean myself off of all the foods. First I dropped all dairy except my daily coffee, then mayo, salad dressings, low carb chocolates, etc. The last and hardest thing to drop from my diet was my coffee. It took me 2 whole months to wean myself off of the coffee. When I finally dropped the coffee the scale began to move again, and I am now down another 36 pounds in four months, for a total of 56 pounds. When I first started this I could barely walk, and now I can do 20 minutes on the elliptical and run. My arthritic knees are so much better, my psoriasis is 90% improved, I have more energy, my skin is clearer, etc. I love Bee's diet! First I got my coffee drinking down to 3 cups a day, then 2 cups a day then one then switched to decaffeineated, then slimmed down to 3 cups a day then 2 cups then one and finally switched to drinking green tea, one bagfull every two days brewed in a two quart pot. I have more energy! Surprising! Since we're taught to think caffeine gives us energy. Another lie taught us since childhood. hrm > > Die off and healing symptoms: > > Vericose Veins sloooooowly moving up my legs from my feet to my ankles then dissappearing under the skin. > Parkinson's type symptoms that diminished and are now gone. Guest guest
It's wonderful the improvements you have accomplished! > Hubby is getting the benefits from being on the diet too and says he notices now how tired he is when he cheats with peanutbutter, fruit or chocolate. He's thrown out all the bread last month and hasn't eaten pasta for 3 months now. How do you get your dh to follow the diet? Even with the improvements that I have personnally seen, I can't pry the bread, pasta, or caffeine from his diet. Suggestions would be helpful! TIA! - Ann
Guest guest
You are very welcome Cory! I have to say it was very hard to get started and stay with it. I just kept telling myself I could regain my health if I stuck with it! My program is for 24 months. I have 14 more to go. --nh > > Dear NH > This is wonderful and just what I needed to hear..
