Guest guest
I want to know if Alvidar is any help when it comes to thyroid.I would also like to know if my level is at 5.96 and I am not on synthroid what could the long term effects be. I tried synthroid once before for 2 weeks and it did help me feel less tired, but it blew me up twice my size to where I almost couldn't breathe and it made me feel very very sick(dizzy and nacious.)Does anyone have any suggestions cause I am tired of feeling this way tired all the time, cold all the time, hard time swallowing and I have other symptoms as well,Anyone please help.I can't see my doctor until 17 Oct. Thank You, TAnya
Guest guest
, YOur TSH is way to high, you need to be on medicine. Why not try a natural one, Amour or Westhroid I was on a synthetic for years, and got no where even with a normal TSH level. Whatever you do get treatment now. Guest guest
Technically a TSH level of 5.96 is elevated but not overt hypothyroidism. Your doctor is going to make a call based on symptoms and other factors (T4 levels for example). Endocrinologist do not make a recommendation for mandatory treatment until your TSH level is greater than 10. When I was diagnosed with overt hypothyroidism my TSH level was around 19, and my symptoms were very subtle (fatigue, muscle pain, joint pain, mild depression). > > I want to know if Alvidar is any help when it comes to thyroid.I > would > > also like to know if my level is at 5.96 and I am not on synthroid > > what could the long term effects be. Guest guest
Gracia, I agree with your numbers on TSH - thats what I read recently. That they should be in that range. For my own health, its seems 2 and below have been better for me - over all health - just my own story.
