armour is a naturally derived (from pigs) thyroid replacement

containing both T4 and T3.

also if there are any homeopathic methods to help with hypothyroidism?

Thanks for any replies.

Hi, this is my first message to the group too but I've been following posts

quite awhile.

I was given 50mcg of Thyroxine when I was first diagnosed and I'm now up to

200mcg

Some of my symptoms have improved but lots haven't, I'd like to give armour

a try but not sure how to go about it. I'm in the UK so I doubt my Doctor

would prescribe it. Would I have to stop taking the thyroxine altogether or

just reduce it?

Thanks,

Hi Celticstar,

I am a U.K. patient. I would say unless you have an old style doctor, who

has moved with the times, and has not thrown the baby out with the bath

water, they may be more susceptible to letting you try Armour.

Sadly , my experience in the U.K. has been a woefully arrogant attitude from

doctors of roughly my age, and doodle squat from younger ones. One doc said

when I went to her with overwhelming fatigue, said 'Whoa! don't ask me

anything about the thyroid, I can't help you!!!

Good luck though, if you can find a doctor who doesn't push what Pharma are

pushing him/her to promote.

Val.
