Guest guest
Thanks a,all your postings with articles the past few days have been especially interesting, have printed them out to take my time reading them. All your efforts are very much appreciated and you will probably never know how much you have helped educate so many of us. I found those articles on Enbrel especially interesting. It seems no matter what we put in our mouths to help our conditions, the side affects can be disastrous. Thanks also for your kind comments. I am really enjoying knowing that I am doing something worthwhile to help my fellow arthritis sufferers. One of the goals is to teach doctors how to do site injections. Usually when a lpatient needs cortisone etc. it is necessary for the patient to get a referral to a specialist and this can take 3-6 mos. I am also glad none of the doctors actually stuck me with the needles because from what I gathered, their knowledge of the proper site, especially in knee and shoulder left much to be desired. I went today to pick up more Arava but my pharmacist(who is a friend) insists on talking to my rheumy to find out if my blood levels are okay before she gives me more. I am getting very nervous about this medication. Hugs June
