OK, more questions for the list (thanks in advance)

Just when I thought my Lupus was easing up, one of my test results on

my kidneys came back abnormal - so now off to another specialist. My

Rhemy saw the test results first, and said they were border-line.

Then she called a kidney doctor, got the referral and said I might

need a biopsy (Yikes)

So, . . .

(1) Should I get the kidney test redone? It was the 24-hour urine

collection test and I was in the middle of my first flare. I was

taking plaquinel for only two days. I started prednisone since the

test. I feel fine now, except for fatigue.

(2) Are there any other less invasive tests for checking kidney

function? I am curious as whether people had x-rays, but then still

had to have a biopsy. How about blood tests?

(3) Does this mean I'm off coffee, again? (oh sure I'll live longer,

or it will certainly SEEM longer)
