Guest guest
Speaking of fatigue - I can remember when my disease at its most active - back when I was pregnant with number 2 and my oldest was under 2 years old. I had such profound fatigue that there were times I could do nothing more than lay on the couch. Fortunately, my mother was a godsend - she would watch my 2 year old while I languished. I was so fatigued that I could barely make myself get up and go to the bathroom. At the time everyone kept saying it was because I was pregnant, but I knew it wasn't. Because there would be days when I had plenty of energy. It was a weird fatigue - like every muscle in my body simply had given way to flacidity. Even laying on the couch was tiring. But my brain was wide awake. I couldn't even write because it was too tiring to hold the pen. It was a total, fully encompassing fatigue. Very weird. I haven't had that for a very long time. Now my biggest problem is falling hair. I swear I will be bald by Christmas. Then everyone can buy me scarves and way kewl beanies to wear. Maybe even one with a little propeller on the top. Won't that go over well at school? *G* Seriously though I dropped my Arava to every other day. I think it's helping. I do notice the aching returning in my back mostly. It was one of those tough decisions - bald/pain, bald/pain. Ok vanity won out. I chose a little more pain. Guest guest
Jenna, Some mothers are noted for being godsends. Thank him for having her around for you. Just think of the fashion statement you could make with all the different wigs (Just like Cher) and have less pain too. I know vanity is vanity is vanity.... But that's what women are made of. Hope you are doing well.
