Guest guest
Earl, I have a low body temp that stays low throughout the day. The temp ranges from 97 to 98 degrees F. I am thin with an apparent fast metabolism and suffer from hair loss and cold extremities. Does this sound like a possible case of hypothyroid? Guest guest
Dear Dennis: yes, your symptoms resemble a classic case of hypothyroidism. Assuming that you are on a sane nutritional program, are not taking drugs, have some basic supplements especially 'B' vitamins, then the Thyrodine will bring up your temperature and allow you to metabolize your food better. Thyrodine will restore thyroid function quickly and effectively. You may also wish to consider digestive enzymes as many of us eat tooo much cooked food and have immune challenges which depletes enzymes. A " broad spectrum " enzyme just before each meal and possibly a heavy duty proteolytic [protein digesting] enzyme before bed and upon arising, just could put some weight on you and increase your energy. The Thyrodine is US$40 postpaid, the enzymes are US$25 each formula. The Thyrodine generally will restore thyroid function within a few days to weeks. One bottle is generally sufficient. Occasionally, two may be required for serious hpothyroidism. The enzymes @ 4 a day would last 15 days each. You could get enzymes from most chiropractors or naturopaths or I could send you some, if you so desired. An attachment enclosed. best wishes Earl Re: Check out Thyroid Disease - Home Page From: Dennis Lipter <dlipter@...> Earl, I have a low body temp that stays low throughout the day.
