Jim, Though I've never read this particular information about tea containing flouride, I have personally experienced a negative thyroid spin from using a topical flouride supplement the dentist prescribed to supposedly make my teeth less sensitive. I went hypo very quickly! Within hours my thyroid gland was swollen and painful. When that happened I did some reading on the internet and confirmed that flouride is indeed a problem for the hypothyroid. Maybe that's why green tea has never agreed with me? in LA
Guest guest
Hi all, I got this message from the company that I buy thyroid glandular from. I have never heard anything like this before, so I don't know what to think. Jim " This may be some of the most valuable information you will ever read. Just when you thought you were doing something healthy, you are about to find that you have been seriously misled. Please don't disregard this, our research shows that it is very serious business. In this Health Alert newsletter we expose the major thyroid and cancer dangers of green tea and fluoride. Could this be the cause of your health problems or low thyroid condition? Interestingly, 80 percent of homes in the United States have green or black tea in their kitchen cupboards, which closely parallels the high incidence of thyroid problems many experts are seeing in the U.S., Canada, United Kingdom, and many other countries where widespread use is common. Green and black tea contain extremely high levels of fluoride. Did you know that when people quit using tea and/or move away from areas with fluoridated water, thyroid disorders often are alleviated? This entire situation is part of massive industry coverups. Very extensive medical research in our database proves that green tea, black tea, and fluoride are responsible for serious health problems. This includes many thyroid related disorders, hypothyroidism (low thyroid), and also cancer, neurological disorders, perinatal death, Downs syndrome, and dental fluorosis or fluoride poisoning. They may also be implicated in Alzheimers disease. Learn why these heavily promoted " health products " are really substances with deadly consequences... Guest guest
I would pass this along to the " about " page or directly with Shomon. VERY interesting because that is one of the things she promotes ( green tea ) P. > > Hi all, > > I got this message from the company that I buy thyroid > glandular from. > I have never heard anything like this before, so I > don't know what to think. > > Jim > > " This may be some of the most valuable information you > will ever read. Guest guest
No offense, but that sounds like a lot of BS to me. I wouldn't believe anything a company " reports " to their customers. I suggest doing some research and perusing some MEDICAL journals... and disregarding a supplement company's emails. ~ --- Hall <jimchristianhall@...> wrote: > > Hi all, > > I got this message from the company that I buy > thyroid > glandular from. > I have never heard anything like this before, so I > don't know what to think. > > Jim > > " This may be some of the most valuable information > you > will ever read. Guest guest
, this is not BS unfortunately.... Tea leaves soak up pollutions such as flouride, especially green and black teas. Flouride is known to negatively affect the thyroid. There is research on this and I will try to find it when I get home from work. Fluoride is also is drinking water (not distilled though) and obviously toothpaste. In certain levels, it is detrimental. It's known to be slightly less poisonous than arsenic!!!! ----Original Message Follows---- From: " L. Guest guest
I certainly wouldn't trust medical journals either! Mainstream docs are the ones pushing flouride on us. I drink tea sometimes but always buy organic, and avoid flouridated water and toothpaste. There are nations of tea drinkers like the Brits, and they aren't all staggering around sick. Guest guest
Shomon isn't a mainstream doctor - she isn't a doctor at all. I sent a link and it was from her site. I think she is pretty objective. It's mostly green and black teas that are harmful. I wonder if it matters if you buy organic b/c organic means that no pesticides are added, but fluoride is in the air and the water flow. ----Original Message Follows---- From: " Gracia " <circe@...> Reply-hypothyroidism <hypothyroidism > Subject: Re: TEA???? hurts thyroid!!!??????
