Guest guest
Rennie, I looked at a few sites on Co-Q 10. It does look promising. I'll have to ask my dentist about it. It also mentions being beneficial for thyroid problems. But, it was hard to find any sites that went into detail. Re:/ dental/tarter , I'm with you! I had followed the 3-4 cleanings a year routine for over 20 years and tartar would begin to accumulate within weeks of each thorough cleaning. I knew that body chemistry was playing a big role, but I could never figure out what precisely. I followed all the protocols suggested below as well. Then about eight months ago I began using Co-Q 10 gel capsules twice a day as well as making a change in a diabetes med. When it came time for my next dental cleaning, I had to call and reschedule because miraculously I had no tartar to remove! At first I attributed this to the diabetes med, but my doc was really skeptical about that connection. I then read an article on Co-Q 10 and saw that this positive effect on dental tartar was mentioned. I can't say for certain that this is what caused such dramatic improvement, but I'm not dropping the Co-Q 10 anytime soon! >G< And my teeth are still tartar free, again after many months. Guest guest
Rennie, You say you take CoQ10 twice a day. How much is in each capsule? Thanks in advance. Gracia, You are right. Your son's dentist will never fix his problem. I have had severe gum disease. The solution was to brush at least twice a day with Sonicare, the only tooth brush which really keeps the plaque away and out of pockets. I have of late combined Sonicare with colloidal silver and Oil of Oregano. There is a treatment given by some dentists which is a string impregnated with Tetracycline. This string is wound around each tooth and pushed down into the pockets. Kept in with Crazy Glue, you leave it in for ten days. It kills every bug (thousands) down in the pockets, but they grow back in six months or less to full strength (thousands). I was part of a bug research program for a few years wherein each tooth's pocket was sampled in three locations on each side and the bug types and concentrations measured, every 3 months. It was during that time that they tried the string/tetracycline. Colloidal silver is as good as tetracycline for killing bugs. I am not sure that my present use of CS provides enough contact time to kill the bugs living in pockets. Regards, Ben
Guest guest
Ben, My Co-Q 10 gelcaps are 50 mg. > Rennie, > > You say you take CoQ10 twice a day. How much is in each capsule? Thanks in advance. > Have you ever investigated hydrogen peroxide (oxygenation) for the " bugs " ? I'm looking forward to getting back to H2O2 IVs in a few months. The doc days this is far more effective at killing off lots of critters that most meds cannot reach. FWIW. And I'm no expert... > Gracia, > > You are right.
