Guest guest
This is why I loveeeee my Big Berkey. It does remove the chlorine. Beverly Texas Re: Hunger question Lucky gal with the well water! My city water sucks, and I won't cook with it or drink it. I make my poor ex hubby haul me over several 5 gallon jugs a week, which I keep on a dispenser, lol. I have a filter, but filters only remove the SMELL of chlorine, not the chlorine itself, so I made a deal with the ex that I got custody of the water, lol. I did a test a couple of times, starting some sprouts at the same time and watering them-one tray with filtered city water, and one with his well water. The filtered water ones dies, the well water ones thrived-proof enough for me! Now...if I could just get him to haul me enough to wash my hair in... Guest guest
Was waiting to hear Berkey mentioned. After years of talking about them (from Charlie's recommend) to hubby about them, finally one day last year husband comes out and says, I think we should be a Berkey water filter. Like I had never mentioned it. haha Who cares, we got one, and our water is so much better to drink. I can't believe the taste difference. We plan to buy a larger one for more capacity and use this smaller one (stainless steel) in the motor homes when we travel. Husband is now all in favor of getting extra cartridges to keep on hand, even though they last forever, almost. Velda On 3/30/2011 5:03 PM, FOOD FUN wrote: > This is why I loveeeee my Big Berkey.
