HI,

I have recently switched to Thyrolar and am feeling soooooo much

better. I have heard that after a period of time on sin-thyroid the

thyroid gland shuts down, so the only reading the Doc's get is the

reading of the medicine. I am convinced that is what happened to me!

I've been on that stuff for 30 years. I am 57 years old and things

just haven't been right for me for the last two years in regards to

my hypo condition.

Does anyone else have any info or experiences with sin-thyroid? I

would like to know. I know it is not nor ever has been approved by

the FDA, other than stock in Knoll Pharmacuticals, I see no reason

why sin-throid is the be all and end all for hypothyrodism. I am

really upset about this, how many people are lying on the couch right

now because the Doc's have no clue what to do.
