Guest guest
Welcome, Lois! Very glad that you found our group. We are a really caring, smart, funny bunch. So sorry to hear about your coaching position with the volleyball team. You're right, most of the time, it's not worth fighting with jerks. I played volleyball, basketball, and softball in high school and softball and basketball in grade school. I can relate to loving a sport and feeling upset about the pain that comes with playing now. Hope you are feeling better about things today. ----- Original Message ----- From: <lventerprises@...> < egroups> Sent: Friday, October 20, 2000 10:22 AM Subject: Re: [ ] Re: Doctors who think > i sympathize > with all of you > people just dont get it sometimes > yesterday i lost my volunteer position > of coaching a volleyball team > my true love of a sport > but which probably gave me the arthritis that i have > but anyway > the mothers had no idea how much pain i was in > while trying to play with girls, i had a flare up the whole time > but they thought the girls who performing well enough > and they wanted a winning team so i let another mom > butt in > even though i know the sport better,, > someimes with this illness, you barely have enough energy to walk > and not enough to fight with jerks,,, > feeling sorry for myself today > > lois
