Guest guest
As many of you may know, part of the cost for GF foods are tax deductible as a medical expense - if you have a celiac diagnosis. You must record the amounts paid for GF items and how much comparable items are when they're not GF. Then you can claim the difference as a medical expense. I was wondering if anyone has already researched the costs of non-GF foods in the Bay Area, and wouldn't mind sharing this information. In return, I would be glad to share some of the GF treats that I make in the future. Sometimes I make bagels, different breads, chocolate eclairs, tiramisu, blueberry and pumpkin pie, and corn bread, just to name a few. Sharon BTW, if you want to learn more about tax deductions, there is more info here http://www.celiac.com/categories/Celiac-Disease-%26-Gluten%252dFree-Food-Tax-Deduction-Info/ . For most people, the deductions aren't worth applying for, bc/ only expenses in excess of 7.5% of your income is allowed. Get Windows Live and get whatever you need, wherever you are. Start here.
