Guest guest
Thanks for letting us know. I finally found the cinnamon rolls at a grocery store in santa cruz last weekend. I keep asking about them at Berkeley WF whenever I am there but they seem to be clueless about GF. The WF in Walnut Creek seems to be much more proactive... but I hardly ever get out there. BTW have you tried the bagels? I found Glutino bagels at a WF in LA a while back and thought they were pretty good (for GF). Guest guest
FYI the new Oakland Whole Foods has the cinnamon rolls (as well as Azna brownies, Crave cakes, cookies, and brownies) in the freezer right next to the bakery/candy counter. :)On Aug 7, 2008, at 9:38 PM, Luther wrote:Thanks for letting us know. Guest guest
I’m not sure where Luther found them, but I know they carry them at the New Leaf on 41st along with tons of other GF stuff. They’re on a table in the last aisle in between the deli counter and foods to go/cold drinks. Guest guest
I think it was called New Leaf. It was in the main downtown touristy shopping/walking area. They were in the fresh baked goods area near the front of the store (not frozen). Guest guest
Yup, it’s new leaf. And yes the one downtown does have them. It’s on Pacific, that’s the main drag. It looks like a bank from the outside. There’s actually a parking lot in the back if you come off Front Street. Guest guest
I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE these cinnamon buns from Anza...They have had them at Whole Foods on Rhode Island in SF for a couple of months now, only the large ones...very pricey ($8.99 for 4 I believe), but very very good... Guest guest
Thanks! That's great to know. I'm just about to use my Rainbow 20% off coupon (4/year in the back pages SF phonebook Yellow Pages -- in case others on this list who live in SF don't know.) The more Rainbow stocks GF food & vitamins, the better. Sharon Wood > > Just got back from Rainbow Grocery for the first time in 4 months. Guest guest
Where did you find the Cinnamon rolls in Santa Cruz, I would love to try them. At the New Leaf Market in Felton they have Azna products as well as Kinninnick doughnuts (these are on the shelf with the other breads), Glutino bagels and breads, Enjoy life bagels, Kinninnick hot dog and hamburger buns (in the cooler across from the bread).
