I had my husband call yesterday to his inusurance company and the person in

Madison stated that the Imuran is covered if I send a letter from my doctor

stating the reason I am on Imuran. She said the people at the place that

covers the medicine don't take time to research a drug for reasons why it

isn't covered. So that is good to hear.

Did you ask the insurance company if they cover Azathioprine (generic for

Imuran)? If they don't cover that either, I think that you can appeal

because I think that they have to cover life saving drugs. Check it out.

It might be worth a little argument. I have a real chip on my shoulder

when it comes to insurance companies and I don't let them get away with

much, but they're always trying!
