Guest guest
But heidi, I always did all that! Except I do eat carbohydrates, figuring they're better than some alternatives. Harper (40 pounds in six weeks)
Guest guest
Hi Shelby, my name is Heidi from California. I'm not very active on the list, but still enjoy all the good advise!! I've had Autoimmune Hepatitis for almost 7 years now, and I'm on Prednisone and Imuran, which I'll probably never be able to get of. But I've been lucky with the side effects, but have gained about 40 pounds over the last 7 years. I've been on various diets without any big success. I just started the low carb diet, which works for me. I've lost about 10 pounds in a couple of months. I eat all I can of certain kinds of foods. Here's what I did. Stopped drinking soda. I only drink sparkling water and water. Stopped eating snacks/candy/chips etc. I've actually convinced myself, that stuff doesn't taste good. I don't even like a piece of chocolate anymore. I eat all the meat I want to, without any fat or gravy All the veggies I can, dressing on the salad. I do eat potatoes, but watch out with the white bread/pasta etc. And then exercise as much as I feel comfortable with. I asked my doctor what he thinks, and he told me to go ahead with what I'm doing. So hope this is any help Heidi, CA > Hello group, I am new to this group. Guest guest
I did too, so I think it's the low carbs diet working. I used to eat sooo much bread, and a lot of pasta too. And cut down on both of them. Heidi > But heidi, I always did all that!
