Guest guest
I wanted to point out that for most of the ladies today getting saline implants, there is no hope of ever recovering any sort of compensation through the justice system should you become ill and/or disabled. When I began to look around and called a few attornies in 1998, there was no question that we were "undesireables" and losers in that game. No one wanted anything to do with it. There would be no money in it for them, because it was a long, hard battle with no real proof that our ills were a direct result of implants. Manufacturers have become well skilled in making their way through the courts and can shoot down practically any case that comes up. When you get implants today, you sign away all your rights to pursue any sort of litigation associated with them. That should scare you right there. You are hung out to dry when the **** hits the fan with your health. Patty
Guest guest
Patty, I am so glad you brought this up. I am not sure if women are being told this in the informed consents that are being used today or not. Does anyone have a copy of a current informed consent being used by doctors? Guest guest
AND. . . . . There is another important issue you virtually " sign away " at this time, which is the minute you have breast implants installed in your body, you become totally UNinsurable for life, medical, & disability insurance with all carriers that I've EVER done business with in the past 20-years. I'm now certain that will not change anytime in the next several years, due to all the problems which have to be admitted in the New Informed Consent Form!
