For the person asking about places to eat on the coast headed north to Oregon:

I forgot to mention in my post of a minute ago that 's "Bakery" (Mexican cafe), is not only has extremely good, simple food and a nice view of the ocean, but also that the food is extremely inexpensive, or so it seems to me. The owner, , is a lovely person who takes her work very seriously. (I live in this area.)

At the other end of the spectrum, if you are in Eureka CA, the House offers delicious and rather luxurious meals. They always have been very careful to provide GF food, once I explained my needs.
