Guest guest
Patty....I am interested in the fast. Wow, you get a rash on your chest when you fast? Has a doctor ever been able to explain that? Could it be toxins coming out of your body? Kay ----- Original Message ----- From: Patty egroups Sent: Wednesday, September 06, 2000 9:20 AM Subject: Kidney/bladder infection culture I got the results back from my kidney/bladder infection of last week, and they told me that it was an E. Coli bacteria that was the culprit. Ick! I heard from quite a few women who have had numerous infections of this type since getting implants, but they did not identify the bacteria present. I will be going on a fast this week, if anyone wants to join me! I need to clear out some body tissues, as I have had a bit more joint pain lately (knees, neck), and fasting seems to be a sure fire cure for that for me. Let me know if you are interested. I will probably start tomorrow. I'll prepare today by eating only fruits and raw veggies and juices. I also ALWAYS get a rash on my breasts and head when I fast, which I am hoping will someday go away. I'll fill you in if it happens again this time. Kay Hi Kay, Yes, I get a rash on my breasts every time that I fast, and it began with my very first naturopath-supervised fast in Sept of 1998, which lasted 5 days. He started me out on a 3 day fast, but when I told him about the rash, and my desire to continue it because of the rash, he agreed. He did confirm that it was toxins coming out through my skin on my breasts and head (and a smaller version in my pubic area). I wish I knew what kind of toxins! I have often wondered if it was small silicone particles or even some kind of heavy metal. Since that time I have done at least a half dozen or more fasts of varying durations (from 3 to 10 days), some with a water/maple syrup/lemon juice combination and some with just water only. I have also done a 14 day vegetable-juice-only fast, but on that fast, I did not get the rash. All fasts with water only or with the lemon juice water produced the toxic rash, so I know they are the most effective at cleansing my tissues out deeply. I hope someday to be able to fast and not see the rash develop. Fasting relieves my joint pain completely. So, if anyone wants to join me, I am getting ready! Just let me know, so I can give you some pointers on how to cope with a fasting experience. It takes alot of mental fortitude. I will start on Friday, and go for at least 3 days, possibly 5 or 7, depending on how I feel. Patty
